Craig said that we "bettered Fulham's personal terms." Did you try and go to bed at all? I gave it a shot, failed. I can't do it. Work tomorrow is going to suck nuts. Yeah, I have to be in at 2PM FFS.

Couldn't sleep. Picked a good time to get up!

Told ya. Anyway, we're going to sign Macheda on loan and that'll be it for us. I'm off to bed then, have a nice evening folks and I look forward to tomorrow morning's meltdown reading.

Try living in Korea. Window closes at 7AM tomorrow morning. I love waking up first thing in the morning and being inconsolably angry. Aye, gonna get up at 8 and have a look then go back to bed for an ould failwank and a snooze.
-
Gonna go for a few beers now safe in the knowledge that absolutely fucking nothing will have happened by the time I get back online. Have fun lads.

Aye, was going to say the same thing. Santon - Colo - Taylor - Pieters would be a very exciting first choice back four. We'd also then have very good depth at both full back and center half with the versatility of both Pieters and Santon. I can't see it happening though, and a striker should be much higher on the list of priorities.

You make it sound like we know what we are doing If these deals are anything to go by, you know exactly what you're doing. You run the risk of upsetting some posters Neil. Ashley and Co are c***s and there's no way past that, all these class signings must be some kind of accident or - ah got it.. they'll sell for more. I think you'll struggle to find anyone who is unhappy with the signings we've made. It's the gaping holes in the squad and lack of willing to push the club as far as possible that pisses people off. If we get a striker (and I think we will), not sure where the gaping hole is. i'll start you off, centre half Taylor and Colo is a good pairing, and Williamson as a 3rd choice CB is hardly awful. Could do with a 4th choice like, but it's hardly awful. I'd buy another fullback first personally.

Delighted Arsenal have signed PCY, won't have to watch Sunderland on the TV every fucking week over here now.

Ah, right, temporary whoosh.

Depends on price and effect it has on other targets, if we are offering £7m for Maiga I assume they are offering close to that to replace him. Wouldn't pay £7m for Gradel. Have you learned nothing this summer?
-
Promising young player, will be furious if this is the only striker we bring in before the deadline though. We've had 7 months and 35m to sort this out with, if the only striker we end up with from this is a free transfer with massive injury concerns it'll be a shambles.
-
Pardew has said quite consistently that we would sign a left back and a striker so it's not like that has changed because the ground wasn't full on Sunday. Aye, people have every reason to believe what they say like.
-
uh-oh... Aye. Cajun will be suiting up for action 24/7.

His ability to play both sides is a major plus. Gives Ferguson the chance to push for left back spot as if he's good enough we can switch Santon to the right and drop Simpson. High hopes for the lad if this comes off, but it may take some time for him to rediscover anything even approaching his best form so we'll have to be patient with him.
-
I do hope he reads the forum like. Gotta be at least one player who does, if they read this thread they'd have to be pissing themselves laughing at ho fucking hopeless we all agree that he is.
-
We should make more kits with even more flattering for those without particularly broad shoulders then. And repeat the proccess a thousand times. Infinite Shoulders.
-
Ferguson's size isn't that much of an issue for me, Evra is pretty small and he manages like. Ferguson will get stronger as well over the next few years, I'd imagine.
-
Aye, he does look like a guy lacking self belief a bit to me, when he gets the ball with a bit of space in front of him he should be just looking to drive at the defense but he doesn't seem willing to do so. Don't see him as a Dyer at all, he strikes me as someone who even if he gets it together will always be a bit of a hit and miss winger type. But that's nothing to be too upset about in a winger, as long as he produces enough in the way of hits and keeps up the level of effort we saw yesterday then he can be a good player for us. The right wing spot is there for the taking for him too tbh, with Marveaux and Jonas being better fits on the left.
-
Aye, not a bad shout in theory. My concern would be whether we're guaranteeing Bridge anything, if he's coming here prepared to try and win a spot on merit that'd be alright with me. Wouldn't want us making any guarantees to him, but I'd have him in to compete for a spot for the youngsters. If he kicks up any fuss, we'll set Pardew on his lass... http://i.imgur.com/bcxRe.png

Definitely a kid that needs some love and stability.

Hard to be unhappy with this if it comes off. Young player, clearly has a lot of ability, can play either side which is a massive help considering we have one legitimate full back in our squad, and not a great one at that. Ideally we'd bring in a left back as well and have the two new boys competing with Simpson for two spots, but if he's the only full back we bring in it could have been far worse. If they're serious about Ferguson playing left back this would also make sense. (not to say that's the reason they'll have gone for Santon of course, just that it'd be a happy coincidence )
