  1. Eboue must have pictures of Wenger at something dodgy, it's the only explanation.
  2. Shame we didn't sign Arshavin last summer like.
  3. Great play and great save there.
  4. Aye, they're still a very good team but he was that little spark that really put the fear into teams. They look to lack pace tbh.
  5. Best player in the Premiership last year. FACT!!
  6. Don't see what the problem is with what Ronaldo has said. Playing him all the time will do more harm than good. He clearly needs work on his decision making/dealing with crosses, and with him still being only 21 there's more than enough time for that to be ironed out. A few more games like the one he had on Wednesday is the last thing he needs, he's just not ready yet tbh.

    RIP sale thread.

What hill? This thread is like Kansas. I see you're online then? :-[
  8. Thought it was absolutely shite like...

    Oh dear

http://img.skysports.com/08/01/218x298/Ryan_Taylor_630137.jpg Clearly thick as fuck tbh.
  10. You really don't like Stoke fans then I take it? I think he is more concerned with spreading unsubstantiated rumours He's got some strange priorities. Know what you meant btw Dave.

  12. Aye. Butt and Smith in the middle, allowing Nolan to play the free role, is probably what the long term dream is. Depressing.
  13. He's probably fucked so.
  14. What was the craic with his injury on Saturday then? Is he alright now?
  15. Nolan is a decent Goal threat tbh, our best from Midfield. He used to be a decent goal threat from midfield, about 3 years ago. 0 league goals in 31 appearances for us and Bolton last season, and he's yet to have a good game for us since we signed him. The guy is more or less shite, tbh. We're not in the Premiership anymore. Yes, and we won't be again anytime soon as long as we're sending out wasters like Kevin Nolan to represent us.

  17. Barton on the wing? Hopefully Nolan suffers a very serious injury early in the game and we can bring on Lua Lua for him.
  18. Good to hear he essentially got away with it.
  19. Aye, really would have made no sense for Spurs to 100% finalise the transfer before we'd played West Brom when they know that if they wait a day or two he can get his suspension out of the way. Though I'm not particularly arsed either way like.
  20. Harper - 5 - Didn't have a whole lot to do, badly at fault for their goal. R Taylor - 5 - Typical performance from him. S Taylor - 7 - Thought he looked solid, will do very well in the Championship I think. Coloccini - 4 - Liability. Enrique - 7 - Solid at the back, does a great job of getting his body between the ball and his opponent. He'll really have to learn to use the ball quicker though. Duff - 6 - Horrible first half, but took his goal well and looked a lot more confident after that. Smith - 8 - Our best player. Some great tackles and generally was a presence in midfield. Encouraging stuff from him. Nolan - 5 - Laid on the goal brilliantly, was absolutely desperate apart from that. Jonas - 5 - Started off well but seemed to spit his dummy out after the goal and was desperate in the second half. Ameobi - 5 - Played better in the second half but still was pretty shite all in all. Carroll - 7 - The guy is a handful, if we can find a good partner for him I think he'll make a very good CF for us this season. Krul - 8 - Had 4 very good saves and really deserves a chance to start. Needs to work on the crosses. Barton looked good when he came on too. Hughton bottled it in the last twenty minutes tbh. Think we could have gone on to win it, taking off AC was a terrible decision, especially with Nolan having been so ineffective the whole game through. All in all, a very encouraging game for us though. With a proper manager in charge, this group are good enough to go straight back up. (Much like they'd have stayed up last year with a proper manager)
  21. Good game tbf. Reckon we've left two points out there, but more positives than negatives from today.
