  1. It'd be a lot more than 63 pages if the thread was about how shit SUPERTOON is tbh.
  2. Had a wank over a picture of Collocini last night. If you really blur your eyes it sort of looks like a woman. Good times, hope we get him.

Really sticking his neck out there. 'If he does well it'll improve them.' Yeah, no shit.
  4. If we did splash out major cash over the next month or so it'd be interesting to see how NE5 reacted. Alledgedly making big bids for multiple players doesn't prove a whole lot tbh, could easily be the case that we put three sizeable bids in for players but only ever had the intention of carrying through with one of them, with the others being placed in as alternatives if we couldn't get our first choice. Until we start bringing good players through the door, I remain concerned and increasingly anxious regarding our boards intentions.
  5. they've gone from having 4 of the best strikers in the prem, to 2 with 1 of them wanting to leave i suspect spurs formation next season will be 4-6-0 at this rate Berbatov also wants to leave and if the right offer comes for him i doubt he'll stay. Now when Keane is gone i think they will sign Arshavin or Villa for sure which will be good signing for them. I was told that Keane wouldn't be going until a replacement is sorted out. There may be 1) a change of heart, 2) the transfer won't actually completed for a while or 3) the replacement is near to being resolved. I don't know which. Berbatov is having second thoughts as he sees Ramos' team evolving. Reckoned to be 30% to stay, which still equals 70% to leave, but that is still 30% more to stay than it was this time last week. Ramos wants a committed Berbotov to stay. If he goes, still more likely to be Spain than Manchester. Arshavin and/or Villa are in contention, there is still serious money likely to be spent by all accounts. As for Collocini, there has been no comment made which makes me think we have made a firm bid for him, let alone tried to gazump Newcastle. That may be wrong, but if it is, I haven't heard any different to what I've said. You mean you have or haven't made a bid? He's quite ingeniously covering every eventuality, clearly.
  6. Officially, his future should be decided in the next few days According to his agent, we've made an offer According to Spanish press, it's a matter of hours before he signs So no, then?
  7. Praying that this one actually happens, can't help but be somewhat pessimistic about it though for some reason.
  8. I think that between Jonas, Milner and N'Zogbia we'd be OK for wideman. Given that Milner and Jonas can play on the left we can have a well balanced pairing on the wings no matter what two of those we field. Should also be hoping Kazenga Lua-Lua can get the odd sniff of first team action in the coming season, and having Duff out of the way will help that. Geremi can also play on the right, at a push.
  9. Couldn't help laughing at that, such a mathematical response.
  10. We desperately need another striker. Owen, Martins and one other good option and I'm happy. Smith/Shola as 4th choice isn't ideal, but I suppose it'd do until Viduka is back. If one of them is 3rd choice then we're fucked basically. Another midfielder of some sort would be handy as well like. We have enough in terms of numbers in there, but there's a distinct lack of quality. Could do with a good center half as well, while we're on the subject. I really hope Keegan is bluffing.
  11. He seems to cause himself more problems than the opposition do. No need to try and overplay it so much, just get rid. it's a f***ing friendly ffs, some fan's need to chill out, it's all about fitness not results or performances he's making an observation ffs of course it''s about perfirmances performance's, we had 2nd game of pre season, 1/2 first team out, and now because 1 player made a mistake he want's out Where did anyone say "he wants out", whatever that means? It's a relevant observation. Nobody is panicking, just making a general point about Enrique's game which was highlighted again in today's game.
  12. I know that it's pre-season and the result doesn't matter at all, but it sounds like the kind of thing that generally worries me about Enrique. Hoping he learns from it.
  13. Without the old board around anymore to weave their magic, I think it's certain that doom awaits us.
  14. Be brilliant if they somehow clicked and ended up complimenting each other perfectly.

I see what your getting at but leading by example isnt the only method though, I cant imagine Alex Ferguson or Wenger keeping up with their players. I reckon they'd both be able to keep up with Milner though. At least if they did he wouldn't go off throwing a strop like wonderboy, even though he can apparently do no wrong!
  16. "I can't believe I ate the whole thing"
  17. I'd assumed Guthrie was going to be our DM for the future? Didn't Keegan say something to that effect recently? So I'd imagine he and Butt will be competing for a spot at the start of the season, with the other providing back-up. I think we're fine at DM, but we could definitely do with a quality attack minded central player. As for Milner in the center, I think it could work in a 4-3-3 with a proper DM and a playmaker beside him, allowing Milner to play the box-to-box role. Reckon he'd be useful there, but in a 4-4-2 where he'd be expected to pull the strings for us going forward I can't see him proving a success at all.
  18. I'm fully expecting him to come running up to my window wearing nothing but a pair of white sneakers, armed with a chainsaw, any minute now.
  19. Either way I think adding a LB that we're confident can hold his own in the 1st team is important. The jury is still out on Enrique, and he's the only guy we have capable of playing there at the club. It'd be a shocking risk to just expect that he can be solid for us, as while he's looked half decent in patches he's still a youngster who hasn't really proven he can cut in the Premiership. Last thing we want is N'Zogbia playing back there again. Much as I like him as a winger, he's a liability at left-back.
