  1. Aye, would definitely like to see us bring someone in. Guess my point was that a first choice RW isn't the gaping need it seemed to be a few months ago. Ideally we'd buy a left footed player who's better on the right but can play left if necessary. From what I know of Diaby he seems like a great shout. Wilson, Isak, ASM, Almiron and Diaby would be a quality group of players to be rotating between three spots. Still think Almiron could be played as one of the midfield three too, as you say having a deep squad full of talented versatile players sounds absolutely delightful.
  2. Just three non-negotiable things for Howe that he expects of every player. Always give your best, put the team first and be willing to learn and improve are Howe's. He said on the pod after he went through it that Murphy came in afterwards with his own list. Think he said a few others did but Murphy was the one he mentioned by name.
  3. Listening to that podcast with Howe, Murphy being the player who went back to Howe with his own list of non-negotiables was pretty funny. Teacher's pet Jokes aside though, good on him for being somebody who clearly realised he needed a lot of help in terms of developing to where he wants to be as a footballer and has eagerly jumped at the opportunity to work under Howe. Hope it comes good for him, I don't think he's got enough about him to be a long term member of the first team squad but he'll probably be around another season after this. We've seen some improvement recently and if he keeps making steps forward he could yet turn into the footballer we hoped we were getting and have a decent career for himself.
  4. Aye, think that's what we can expect. Almiron is just playing too well for us to go out and buy a first choice RW but we're definitely light in terms of quality wide options even if Isak can play there a bit too. A quality young prospect who can mostly be used off the bench for a while seems ideal. Seems to not be the consensus but I personally love Bruno at DM and would love to see him with someone like Maddison playing the role we see Willock in when Bruno plays alongside the Joes. They'd be lethal together.
  5. I think the actual answer to the riddle is 'Good Signing' by the way.
  6. On my way to St. Ives I met Chris Wood with his seven wives Each wife had seven bags Each bag had seven linings Each lining had seven materials. Who are we signing in January?
  7. Gotta be Joelinton instead of Willock?
  8. Quite pleasing that we've been the final nail, he acted like a complete dipshit last season.
  9. Just want ASM to rip the piss for twenty minutes here.
  10. I think Eddie Howe is literally God. Change my mind.
  11. Would have been tempted to stick Maxi up top and burst them on the break.
  12. "Pass it! Pass it!! PASS IT!! FUCKING YES!!"
  13. In London for the weekend, went to the Charlton v Ipswich game for the laugh. Was probably the most mental ending to a game of any sport I've ever seen
  14. He's still 16 years old in a lot of those clips. Perhaps he hasn't quite reached his potential yet?
  15. I mean... we're getting close to the point where I could see us looking to buy a younger guy to back up Miggy
  16. For me the most amazing part of that was how utterly unlikely it looked that Spurs would score in the last twenty or so minutes. Always so used to any game where we're about to pull of an upset just being an absolute siege for the last half hour, just conceding the ball and hoping to ride it out. Now we keep playing our game, just with a bit more caution. Keep the ball, press them high, stop them from getting possession in dangerous areas. Great stuff to watch, such an incredible job Howe has done transforming this team. Remember Bruce a year in? Still complaining about how hard it was to undo the mentality of the team Benitez had built. The useless gimp
  17. Yeah we miss Joelinton in CM, think Willock would be well suited to playing out left too.
  18. Hard to believe Joe was once an effective front man, he just looked so uncomfortable there
