Given there is seven packages, it would be pretty unfathomable if they were to get less than four. To be honest, I like Sky's coverage and I am pretty happy with the service. If a third or fourth broadcaster gets packages the price to watch everything will go through the roof. Consumer can't really win. The only way it can work in the favour of the consumer, or viewer, is to have a pay per view service where you pay a reasonable amount for the games you want to see, regardless of which channel they are broadcast. It is pretty straightforward to watch every game of your chosen club live via the interweb already - sometimes the quality is not great of course. If there was a way to watch the games I wanted to watch in HD quality for a sensible price I would be interested.. Not the 10 Pound per day option you can currently get, I can have the channel for a month for that amount with the rest of my Sky package. The cost per game should be 2- 3 Quids max!! If you were able to individually subscribe to each channel/reasonable set of channels (ie all sky sports channels), this would probably work out for the consumer just fine. I'd probably survive on BBCetc + Sky Sports + BT Sports, I'd pay less money because none of my money is going towards the other random filler shite, and Sky etc would mark up the price of those channels. Win-win. Get er done.

Yup. He's done perfectly fine at times, at his very limited role of ye olde style centre back. But if you look at his overall catalog of work for us, it's safe to say he's pretty shit. Obviously TCP knows this, but just likes to say annoying shit, because that's his thing.

Until we stop consistently bypassing any deeper midfield play, his stats are going to be mediocre, doesn't change a thing about his abilities. He's never going to be flashy but he can be a very useful tool, should we ever play in a manner that utilizes central midfield.

I wouldn't even have an "ideal midfield", any 4 out of Abeid/Sissoko/Anita/Cabella/De Jong would work fine, filling the 2*CM,1*AM,1*RW positions. I guess you mix it up depending upon who you're against but in reality they won't all be fit anyway. Sissoko in AM if Anita & Abeid start, else in CM. Colback can be involved every so often too, but I guess it'd be him or Anita, and I have much more hope of Anita improving over time.

If you could just add the acceptable opinion into the title of every thread it would save time. Or better yet, have a sticky with a summary of views that are alright. Well Sissoko offers far more than Anita from a deep position. And yeah it's not brave, it's just football but Pardew wouldn't do that would he. If he did Sissoko be playing that QB role of his. Pardew made that sub a few times. Yeah it offers a marginal amount more from deep, but it appears to be a far more gung-ho substitution than it really is.
