  1. Nah, I think Brighton winning 20-0 is by far best for us. They're still a long way behind, and they have to play away to Arsenal, Villa and us, and home to City. It'd be a fucking miracle for them to finish 4th.
  2. We're going to drop our dick all over Arsenal and win 6-0 so it matters not, Deckman.
  3. Thought he did alright. Not sure I’d go with him and Murphy on the pitch at the same time right now, but… we won, so ?‍♂️ It’s a squad game, he ran the fuck out of his man the first half but ultimately came up short on when around the goal. Maybe next time he gets a goal and assist. We shall see. Onto the next game.
  4. Given we’re now one of Europe’s elite, we may have to get used to the concept that most signings will be brought in and not immediately waltz into the first team and run the show. The squad/system is the priority, and everyone we bring onboard is going to require complete indoctrination. … Unless we sign Haaland or Mbappe or someone.
  5. I just received the email, tomorrow morning they go on pre-sale.
  6. The biggest question that resulted from this game, imo, is which one of our players is going to win the 2023 Ballon D'or. Given it's based on the calendar year, Almiron is probably out, but you'd assume Isak/Murphy/Joelinton/Botman/Schar/Willock/Longstaff all have a great chance of winning. I'd expect them all to make top-3, at a minimum.
  7. need at least 144. Ideally in a VR friendly format.
  8. Obviously Murphy's hit was a delight, but I wish there was an angle from behind him. I can't quite evaluate whether it was an amazing shot or whether Lloris fucked it / couldn't see it or something.
  9. Idk who makes the decisions on which commentators are hired at bbc, but Danny Murphy must have some craaaazy dirt on that fella. He’s so fucking miserable.
  10. Like watching a team of Lee Clark’s, this.
  11. Unreasonably annoyed by man utd’s crest being inside a shield on their kit. No doubt for no reason other than production convenience / cost.
  12. They’ll have nee issue staying up with their current squad like. Once they bin the manager.
  13. If anyone would like to join me in camp “I don’t care who wins I just want to see people suffer”, I’ll take all comers. Best case scenario for me is probably an Arsenal title win, but only after city take the lead and then shit the bed against Leicester or someone equally as shit. Of course this is only after it’s mathematically impossible for us to win the league. Until then I want them both to lose.
  14. you dont want Newcastle to win the league?
  15. Leeds / Leicester / Southampton
  16. There were like 4 Madrid players loitering around the edge of the box. What the fak was the logic on the marking there? Just an assumption that the Spanish club would lump it into the 6-yard box??
  17. Probably not, that place shutdown at the start of covid and is yet to see the light of day again.
  18. Aye it's not exactly magical is it. Giving me flashbacks to waiting in a queue for 2.5 hrs to try and watch the match at the PL FAN FEST last year. Bleugh. But then again think back to what we had the last time they came over to the US. Absolute shitshow.
  19. I'm not sure Fulham vs Brentford is as appealing to the American audience as you might think It's mostly just a case that we'll take anything they'll give us. I'm sure Real Madrid vs THE TOON and other such powerhouse match-ups would be far more palatable, but the Premier League is obviously footing some of the bill/administrative overhead for this, in exchange for building the brand.
  20. Depends what you’re in to really. Don’t be so elitist. It has a lot to offer to those in certain communities.
