Here's my most recent MSPAINT especial: Ignore the Georgiadis comment. It's been DEBUNKED. So currently what is left is: The shitty bird drawing next to Dabizas. The debunked Robbie Elliott, that I had also theorized could be an awful Des Hamilton autograph. The Bjarni!??! one. I'll give Barnes a deex now, cos there are very few people left it could be tbh. The line/squiggle under Keith Gillespie, that could be Stuart Pearce, but also could just be a random leftover line from JDT/Gillespie. I think that's everything. To my knowledge, this was done in one go and given to some company my Uncle worked at (Robson Brown). He then gave it to me. And the timing would be between March & May 1998.

Georgiadis didn't sign until Jun 1998, but Ian Rush left in May 1998. How do you refute this damning evidence? It might be time to drop into George Georgiadis' DMs.

Could debunked Robbie Elliott be Des Hamilton? Looks like we're between March-May 1998. Dabizas didn't sign until March 1998. Rush left in May. Missing squad members: John Barnes, Stuart Pearce, Des Hamilton, Stephen Glass. Various youth / unused players, e.g. Pinas, Paul Dalglish. And Kenny Dalglish / any other staff.

Feel like a right detective at this point. Line 2, next to Warren Barton, has to be Ian Rush right? He was August 97-May 98, so I think Robbie Elliott is officially done for.

He signed in Jan 1998, which would rule out Robbie Elliott. Signature below. It looks very similar, but just for the surname. Probably sacked off his first name due to size constraints and just went with AGriffin? I also just realized Gary Speed didn't sign until Feb 1998, so I think I'm ready to rule out Elliott.

I think you might be right. It's more convincing than the Elliott one. Pistone arrived the same month Elliott left, but I can't find any specific dates. Pistone's signature according to Google:

Thank you! Currently MS Painting these names over the top and will post it again. But I'm still fairly convinced the bottom one next to Rob Lee is Gary Speed (upside down), not Georgiadis. Robbie Elliott and Georgiadis didn't play for us at the same time also fwiw.

I do not. Was trying to identify a Gullit/Dalglish autograph to assist... but failed. That'd be bangin. It's obviously not the end of the world if I can't get a few, given the names identified so far are mostly that of our better players. Will gather together everyone's input momentarily... Also I can photograph in more detail if that'd be helpful. But for the most part I think some of them are just shitty autographs given it was probably annoying to sign this thing.

Gentle(wo)men, I have had this signed NUFC shirt for over 20 years and only just mustered the effort to put it in a frame (albeit a cheapy Chinese Amazon affair). ($500+ quote to get a framing company to do it!!). Anyway, I figured I'd print something off that lists all the autographs / the year of the shirt, and stash it inside. Or maybe make it look fancy and slap it on the front/underneath. One minor caveat: I'm not sure I recognise anyone's autographs other than Shearer and "STEVE HOWEY"*, so here's where you come in... Position of the goalkeeper on this is quite impressive. Ignoring the question of whether he needed to rush out, for now.. Richarlison puts it to the left side of the keeper… and yet it still nestles in the bottom right corner of the goal

I decided to take a wee break because I was finding that NO was no longer a positive influence, mostly due to certain UNSAVOURY characters. Which, in conjunction with the stresses of new child #2, was making me a rather morose motherfucker. But more importantly, I don’t know anything about Dan Burn, but we should definitely sign him. Anything to reduce the chance of Mike’s Captain Jamaal from wearing the shirt again.

Pretty great name on him. Must buy imo.

I mean, I'm not one to defend the crooked nosed blancmange but we have literally no idea about fitness levels / injuries of players at this point in the season. I'm sure Clark and and Kraft aren't going to be his first choices long term.
