  1. I'm just gonna imagine Becks smashing in a FK in the 94th minute.

This explains the Thatcher stuff. Yep. Everyone in NE12 finds it distasteful to celebrate death. Must be something in the water. [/buggeroffwithpoliticsinhere]

not the first person to get it mixed up with Darras hall tbh. Plenty of people seem to. Or maybe they just think there's something special about the filler between beautiful Benton and captivating Killingworth.
  4. At least that photo doesn't have Zayn in it.
  5. Against a Liverpool team that had underperformed in the league and then sacked the manager.
  6. They conceded a goal. He is now shit.
  7. Dortmund need 2 goals "THEY'RE DONE, GAME OVER" Gala need 2 goals "THEY'RE BACK IN IT, GALA ARE GONNA GO THRU Y'KNAA"

Honestly can't believe Mick Lowes still insists upon being that fucking fat.

    Alan Pardew

Maybe I am extreme, that's me but even I said leave off him till the end of the season. The only thing that would convince me to keep him on for next season is winning the Europa which isn't going to happen. For me he ranks alongside Allardyce & Souness only he has a bit more style, suave and bullshitting abilities. He's not as self centred as Allardyce i'll give you that as well, but personalities aside and concentrating fully on the football, very little separate these plums and what I cannot understand it the board over this while they sack one at great cost, they give the other a daft contract, maybe they too are sold on his diet of bullshit and deflection abilities, I just know i'm not. fucking hell i hadn't realised opinions on Pardew were this bad. We finished 5th last season and now we want him gone? If you look at all the clubs that consistantly challenge for the top places in the league they are either run by multi multi billionaires or have had a manager that has been at the club at least 10 years. If we want to challenge the top then we need that as well, and if its not pardew then fine, but if the new guy comes in and doesn't shine in his first 12 months then you'll want him gone too, never mind whether its good for the long term future of the club. I like Pardew as a person and despite a very poor showing this season, I can't see any justification for sacking him as this season has been a massive learning curve for the team. I'd love to keep a manager for 10 years and have that consistency, but the issue I have is with the bit in bold. I personally feel that the team has been direction-less all season and have shown no signs of learning whatsoever. I'm fine with giving Pards more time, but I doubt anything will change by January, and he'll probably get hounded out by then.

I'm happy to wait, but the writing is on the wall as far as I'm concerned. He has no tactical nouse, and this means we'll be consistently inconsistent. I'd love to be proven otherwise, but I've got to the point where I'm 99.9% sure that nothing will change with him. Saying that, I think he can achieve finishes between 9th and 16th in the league, and that may be adequate for the owners.
  12. Where can one buy some form of decent quality nylon NUFC flag to fly proudly on top of one's home? Don't really want a piece of shit that falls apart / looks washed out after a week.
  13. How odd. Chelsea have announced that they will face a second game in the United States against Manchester City at the end of the season, this time at Yankee Stadium in New York. City and Chelsea first meet in Sunday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley and then again at Busch Stadium, home of St Louis Cardinals, on May 23, before a second Stateside friendly at the home of the New York Yankees on May 25.
  14. I don't believe we would be in the thick of it due to one loss vs them.
  15. Benfica. Easily. Whilst I value local rivalries, the notion that this game could be more important than a European QF is insane, especially given today's results pretty much mean were safe.
  16. Taarabt getting a nice duck in
  17. Zamora. It's just idiotic. His foot is 5 foot off the ground man. It's a red.
  18. They're either told to do that, or not coached on how to actually attack our corners properly. We also ALWAYS float the ball in. It's all coaching, or lack thereof.
