He is barely touched. And it's outside the box.

Thats gotta be his first offside of the game and he's getting shit for always being offside. Delightful.

This formation with super Jonas at the head - delightful.

Highlights suggest Everton getting a bit of a bumming, very lucky to be ahead. Oh. And a handball on the goal buildup

GTFI totally woke the GF with a scream and titty grab

This game is failing at keeping the missus awake. Result.

Was thinking the same? Murphy, Zamora, Guthrie, Simpson.... He probably just had some spare time and wanted to watch a game that's in London. But he could've gone to loftus road! Joey is there after all.

The fuck does Capello think he's gonna see here? Is he really watching for the purpose of David Stockdale?

Apprehensive about what Shola can achieve against hanger

Disagree, I think he could start for Man U with Fletcher out. He's far better than Carrick in that role. Which role? Carrick's a playmaker. Carrick is supposed to have the defensive role in the midfield with Fletcher missing. He's still much more deep-lying playmaker than he will ever be defensive midfielder. Tiote has played entirely as a dedicated DM, which not many of the bigger clubs even think they need.

So what you're saying is, the only "top club" playing with Tiote type players out of those three is top of the premier league? Yes.
-
I don't buy that any of the top clubs, other than Man City, have a desire to play a defensive midfielder in the mould of Tiote. Most of them are more bothered about starting attacks off with "deep lying playmaker" types, over using a Tiote-esque player to defend from the midfield. Perhaps I'm underrating Tiote's abilities, and he could well satisfy that role, but you'd imagine these clubs would go for someone a bit more tried and tested. Man City already have Barry, De Jong and, erm... Hargreaves, who fulfil the DM role. I mean, obviously they're shit/crippled, but Mancini seems to love a bit of Barry.

Not from a US provider, no. It'll be some obscure Swedish Betting site or some such.

No TV coverage anywhere in this godforsaken heck hole I take it? ACoN should have invited Mexico. We'd get it all. I can't imagine there will be a second of coverage or highlights. Positive spin: often this means that there'll be free online streaming that isn't even illegal.

I concur that it is interesting. Purely on the basis of recognising the differences between tackle-heavy defenders and positional intercepty/offsidey/blocky defenders.

I'd imagine that the HD one, is in fact, not live.

I would prefer that the big clubs were just forced to take on a more limited group of players tbh. It sounds fairly retarded on paper, but why not stop teams taking on more than x amount of players under y age. I'm sure we could work out a more extensive version of this rule. I mean, you could simply make the registered squad size a little larger, but say you have to register EVERY player. Or cap their salary or something.

Did not know that about Hill. That's pretty freaking awesome. It's fair to say I'd be a little displeased if I were a filthy mackem.
