Sunderland game has been moved to Sunday 4pm, perfect for any NFL fans who are going to the Wembley game that starts at 5pm

Well I'm not at work that week, so this may benefit my chances of getting tickets. Very interesting.

Can't even get in the Brazil team unless someone is injured.

hong on, this present shower of shit is very similar. the difference being that we came up against a decent team earlier than the semis this time. in 90 we were shit in the group, were lucky to beat cameroon and very lucky to beat belgium but all people care to remember was us being unlucky to lose to west germany. It's not really as much to do with the performances as it is the character of the players. At least that team seemed to give a shit. Poor performances or not. Of course, why enjoy a moment of decent TV about Bobby et al when you could be needlessly stirring shit on the internet.

I'm watching that Gazza tears thing now. Just makes me even angrier at the shower of shit that we got this time round.

I'd still be very apprehensive. I'd rather Arteta just stayed because the damage him leaving would do to our side is huge. I don't think we could replace him adequately without spending over £20m and players in that bracket probably wouldn't want to come to Everton anyway. Steven Ireland certainly can't replace him. On paper an offer of Ireland/Onouha/Bellamy would improve the squad as a whole but I think in practice we'd be weakened because the midfield would have a gaping hole. You'd be far better asking for £50m and using the money on players that aren't overpaid City rejects imo

I agree, Everton would be mad to accept that deal.

i don't think you needed much technology to see that todays instance would have gone in had he not handled it. Suarez was standing on the goal line, if he hadn't instinctively put his hands up, it may have just hit off his body and stayed in play. Debatable whether it would have crossed the line or not. I've only seen the "goal" once, but it looked like it was headed pretty much directly at his face anyway. I thought that originally, but it wasn't. It was very much to the right of his head, if he had managed to get his head to it, the likelihood of it stopping the ball from going in was slim.

My favourite American footy shirt supplier says they're out of stock with Puma. Dunno if thats everywhere or just USA. All bar one place (where it were £65) has said that from what I've seen. None on ebay either that i could find. Not sure whether Fat Mikes Sports Emporium stocks them. Right. I guess we're off to Uruguay then. It'll still be cheaper than buying them from uksoccershop.

and to think that now he is celebrating as if he is the hero. FIFA should really imposed heavier sanction on him and generally when a player stops a certain goal with his hands. Sure a penalty is given but that's not the same as 100% goal had he not stopped it illegally...hate the cunt. A red card does not seem enough in this case although overall barring that last minute incident, Uruguay probably just about deserved to go through He'll be a hero in Uruguay
