  1. Simon Stone says we're in for Eliaquim Mangala. Hopefully we're giving him a go upfront.
  2. You're kidding. He's one of the best strikers in the league when he's available. Absolutely no doubt that he starts for either team. That's a slight stretch - I'd put him in the top 10. But back to my point - he's got more competition for his place at West Brom - Jay Rodriguez for example looks like he's finding form. I reckon within top 10 in a 20 team league is fairly inline with "one of the best" tbh. You've got about 70 odd "first team" strikers in the league at a guess. So he's top 14%. I'd take it. The rest of our crew is top 80% at best. So as you say, WBA certainly are providing more competition for him than we are.
  3. Seems rather deliberate when you think aboot it.
  4. I guess that's why he's available to us. maybe we just haven't asked if we can loan Salah
  5. nee chance, there'll be DO THE STUDGER hats arl aboot the shop
  6. Would be happy with him as a signing. Obviously you still need to buy a striker who can play more than 3% of games, but he'd be canny for that 3%.
  7. What? It's a great freekick, Darlow is marking the opposite side of his goal, a perfectly reasonable position to take up - nothing he can do about it if the player is able to get it up and over with pace. -ish An actual good keeper might've got a hand to it, but I can't really fault Darlow on this one. No-one else in our menagerie of keepers would've got anywhere near it.
  8. is there a process in which both sides can just agree to end the game immediately at the current scoreline?
  9. i reckon most reds vs blues games have more of an atmosphere than this
  10. Aye we BADLY need that money in Mike's pocket. It'd make a huge difference.
  11. Well now stop being silly bro. The championship is awful. He would score at least a hundred goals.
  12. Tried the standard keyboard and gboard, does the same thing. Don't worry about it, I'm good with tappy tap.
  13. Yes, that's what I was originally on.
  14. Mitro @ NUFC or Mitro @ Brighton That is the only relevant part to this transfer. The money is meaningless. If you think he's so shit that he'd actively cause issues at Brighton, then I can see why you'd want to sell. Otherwise, I see absolutely zero reason to part with him. Or anyone else.
  15. I scroll down but then when I start typing it twats the window back up to the top again. Doubt there's owt you can do about this like. Seems like a browser compatibility issue.
  16. Imma give it a bash like. Although I've started off and immediately the stupid thing doesn't show the post that I'm writing. Not ideal...
  17. We’ll sign Jorgensen with money that was supposedly already available and the £15m for Mitro will disappear into fresh air. Mitrovic won't play for us ever again unless Gayle and Joselu get injured at the same time. What's the point in keeping him? He won't be played, regardless of how good or shit people think he is. I'd rather we have someone who Rafa wants and will actually play. This is a perfectly feasible scenario though...?
  18. £15m windfall is fucking pointless. We have a player with a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny chance of doing something useful for us. That > £15m in Mike's pocket & our rival getting a new striker.
