Got to say, Gerrard did have one his best games in ages last night. Two assists in two games, so he's doing something right. Still a bit too static when it comes to movement mind but guess that's got to be expected with his ageing body/legs as well as our tactics.

It's too early to say his true potential - but he has made a decent start. Not sure its worth the jizzfest I just simply mentioned that the hype surrounding him was much too great (hence why I think he's overrated atm) but my workmates were having none of it.

I've already stated my overall feelings about him but I have to give credit when it's due. Played well tonight and he took his goal well - it was a great header.

Great win. Walcott made a massive difference - has to start against Ukraine in place of Young/Milner.
