Aye, this is what annoyed me the most about Wilkins today.

That's really encouraging to hear. Aye, definitely. Sounding like the lad's doing what Pardew's wanting him to do ("work harder" and all that) so can only hope this is the beginning of a regular place for Ben Arfa.

We've got a quality full back here. Can only improve. It's great that he's finally established the LB position for himself here.

The thought of him playing those balls for Ba to get on the end of man.

He has always been a solid CB for me. It was imperative that as soon as Saylor got injured that we get Willo back as soon as we could. Just had a feeling that our defence would look alright when he was fit again. (Would also like him to score a goal for us one day!)

McLean is certainly a bright prospect. Promising player who already looks the part tbh. Looks like he can only improve too.

Changed the system and our play for the better when he came on. He also frees up space for others to run into as well. We say this every week but he simply has to start.

Poor performance overall. At best, he should only be an option from the bench.

I'm glad he brought Ben Arfa on instead of one of Abeid, Gosling (the "natural CMs") as the lad changed the system and our attacking play for the better. The long ball was still annoying though and Ben Arfa should have started.

Such an average performance from us. We played better in the second half but still gave the ball away a bit too much. We did have plenty of possession but we did nothing with it really. Ultimately though, we were comfortable enough I guess. QPR didn't have much in terms of firepower upfront (Bothroyd did have one good shot but overall, he was meh) - they did have some good chances which should have been put away tbh. 3 points though and we're 6th. Nice.
