Changed the system and our play for the better when he came on. He also frees up space for others to run into as well. We say this every week but he simply has to start.

Poor performance overall. At best, he should only be an option from the bench.

I'm glad he brought Ben Arfa on instead of one of Abeid, Gosling (the "natural CMs") as the lad changed the system and our attacking play for the better. The long ball was still annoying though and Ben Arfa should have started.

Such an average performance from us. We played better in the second half but still gave the ball away a bit too much. We did have plenty of possession but we did nothing with it really. Ultimately though, we were comfortable enough I guess. QPR didn't have much in terms of firepower upfront (Bothroyd did have one good shot but overall, he was meh) - they did have some good chances which should have been put away tbh. 3 points though and we're 6th. Nice.

Only stay in Newcastle hotel before Mackems home and away, not normal home games. Oh right....... Well, I thought that it applied for all home games. My bad then.

No he's not. He figured out that Coloccini and Enrique were good players, and Owen and Butt were finished long before most on here did. yes but he probably called Jose "Luis Enrique" and called Colo "Conolicci"... He called Demba Ba, "Ibrahim Ba" when he was commentating on one of our games this season (forgotten which one though).
