McLeish is a factor for N'Zogbia underperforming these days really.

The conditions here were pretty much "perfect" for him. Hometown club, number 9, essentially the perfect playing system. But at Liverpool: - The £35 million price tag is constantly hanging over him so he has that extra pressure to actually perform; - Dalglish's system not using Carroll's abilities to their fullest; a hint of homesickness; - Like Interpolic has said, he isn't the brightest of lads either so I reckon there's also that issue of professionalism (out on the town drinking/partying too much instead of knuckling down and trying to improve/step up his game).

Both, Dalglish is clearly not getting the best out of him. He's simply not the right manager for Carroll.

Very impressed with Nathan Redmond, playing on the right wing for Brum. Skill, pace, and a great cross for the goal. Played things first time, but can also beat a man when he needs to. Lovely little player. Still only 17 too, has the potential to develop into a great player. Won't be surprised if a few PL clubs coming knocking in January.

Don't think so. Can see us looking elsewhere (France, basically ) and Simpson sold while he has some worth. Maybe not January with the lack of defensive bodies, but I'd be extremely surprised if he's not gone in the summer of 2012. I'm just thinking that he might not be able to do better than us atm (QPR/Villa have been mentioned as alternatives to us), so he may just back down. We'll see.
