Apparently his team, South China, failed to win the Hong Kong league for the first time in five years, and they crashed out of their Asian competition as well. He signed a contract through the end of the Hong Kong season, but has just recently terminated his contract early (by mutual agreement) and come back to England (hmm...). And yes, I am not taking a p*** here--this is actually true. Still managed to win the Hong Kong FA Cup though.

A top half finish should be our main target. 7th is just about realistic but achieving that definitely depends on who we sign and squad depth and all that.

Shola was absolutely bloody abysmal that day. I vividly remember everyone in the SU bar constantly laughing at him then cheering when he was subbed off for Shearer. Actually, now that I think about it, Shola was terrible that day. Thought he provided an assist but having read the match report, he didn't.

Nah, honestly don't like his "I do it for the money" attitude. Whilst money can be a motivating factor for playing well, still doesn't stop him deliberately playing s*** too imo.
