  1. What does he say? It is interesting that in the years after Bobby was sacked, he did actually have a few digs at players who played for him. Almost a bit out of character. Who do you mean? He has made a few comments about Shearer. Obviously the one above Harper. I seem to remember reading his autobiography a while back and being surprised about how forthright he was in his opinions about certain players. I am not here to comment on the veracity of what he said, more that it seemed out of character for him. Quite a few comments about Robert too iirc.
  2. Aye, got confused with 2005/06 there.
  3. Don't remember much from that game really apart from Owen scoring 2 and Shearer coming off the bench to score our third. I can recall Shola having a decent game............can't remember much about N'Zogbia!
  4. The only yellow kit we had in recent years were last year's and the European one in 2004/05........ EDIT: maybe you're on about the one when we won 3-0?
  5. Still not sure whether or not to buy this

    Twitter

Ratings for his show have been crap recently from what I hear.
  8. Anyone go to this Steve Harper talk tonight at the Centurion?

    Sam Allardyce

Not really but I still would.
  11. Nice of him to "donate" the proceeds to his business project. Puts Shearer and other players testimonial charity donations to shame. What a tosser.
  12. They are in, and always have been to everyone on here. What a bottler Dave Jones is. Cardiff should have p*ssed the league, they should have gone up 5 years ago and every season since. The Middlesbrough game though
  13. I guess that, logically, he should perform better at home (compared to his appearance against Villa). Logically.....
  14. Definitely one for the future. Was one of the best players on the pitch against Chelsea. He seemed totally unfazed by the occasion and that can only be a good thing.

    Alan Pardew

Like some of you in this thread, I was completely against Pardew's appointment and thought he was going to do a crap job. But he has done well given the current and past circumstances. He has definitely won me over (I do miss Hughton though but can't dwell on that now) and long may he do well. Summer now becomes a very important time for Pardew and NUFC. How well we do next season depends on the bodies Pardew brings in.
