I've actually got a link to the city and to the club even though I'm Norwegian. My father lived and worked in Newcastle during the promotion season and the season after when Keegan was in charge. He went to games and so he influenced my older brother, who in turn got me to support Newcastle. Didn't really understand much of football until a few years after my dad had worked there (was about 3-4 years old at that time), but I remember visiting quite a few times and I have some great memories from back then. Been completely hooked since about 97, just about when Dalglish began to fuck it up. Went to a match at SJP for the first time in 2004, and absolutely loved it. Trying to get to at least one game a season now, just a shame the whole thing costs about as much as a season ticket.

If I'd been sure of that the squad will be rebuilt and that we're going to get rid of all our horrible players, the yes. Sadly, they are probably the ones most likely to stay.

10 for me. Can't see that team having the ability and confidence to step ut.

Fucking referee costs us a point yet again. A couple of good spells in the second half, but we're completely toothless in attack most of the time. Nice to finally see the 4-3-3 again, though.

I know it's an old thread, but I need some advice on where to sit/stand. Might be going to the Pompey match and I want to be able to see what's going on and to sing without anyone looking at me like an idiot. I know it's the Leazes Corner, but I'm not so sure about the view. Is it too far up? And what about Gallowgate upper tier or the south-east corner next to the middle tier? Been in the bars in the Milburn Stand, but it's a bit dull there, so that's not an option.
