The second half really was awful. Of course it's important to get the 3 points, but surely it would help the team a lot more if we had gone out and won it with style. Defending isn't our thing and WBA were very close to getting level. If we can continue playing like we did in the first half today, I don't think relegation will be an issue much longer.

Heard about lots of our fans getting hit by bottles and coins, and absolutely no effort from stewards or police to stop it. Quite sad tbh. The mackems are more obsessed about us than supporting their own team. Nowt new there, but surely some sort of action has to be taken. This is from .com:

As I said in the match thread, I think he looked a bit shaky one on one with Wright-Phillips. A bit too passive defending at some times, iyam.

Am I the only having a few doubts about Bassong today? I think he's a bit too passive when the other team attacks down the flank. Still a good performance though. Good atmosphere today also. Gotta love the atmosphere after a stupid referee decision.

I'm having mixed feelings. I can't help but to be passionate about the club when I'm watching, but the apathy is slowly coming into my mind as well. I just can't see a way out of this crisis, really, and it makes me fucking sad.

Like your idea, Ketsbaias Shiny Head. But it will be one hell of a job trying to get everyone to go through withi this. I suppose the majority of the fans don't get on these boards, so maybe someone (TU or whatever) needs to print flyers or something and get the fanzines' and websites' names on it, to show that it's an action organised and supported by many major factions.

Well, I'm living in Norway so I probably won't be taking part in any demonstration (unless I come over, this would actually be a fitting time to do so) but I think there has to be some sort of a fans' protest against all this shit. It's a difficult situation because I'm sure that we would all like to support the team. Now it can be hard to show that we're still behind the team if there's a boycott, but surely the players, at least some of them, will understand it. Maybe we could even get through to the players beforehand and explain that a protest is necessary and that we still support the team, but not Ashley and his gang of idiots. I'm sure the likes of Owen, Given and Taylor should be quite unhappy about Keegan leaving. I don't know, maybe a march before the match and a protest in the stadium at HT and FT would do it. When the game's on everyone could go absolutely mental chanting for the team. Think this could be a good way to show what I said earlier, that we support the team, only not Ashley.
