Is that emre on the left? f*** me To be honest after the way Zog played last week I'm glad it's Emre on the left.

Any team news yet?
-
You talk about it like it actually might be true.
-
If I had the sort of money Totti earns I probobly would.
-
It's all very well saying that but how do we do it. I don't imagine too many players will be putting themselves forward for pay cuts and the only thing we have to attract players this summer is the money.
-
Your both wrong. The national press were reporting the other week that it was more than FIFA's £1 million "final offer" but less than Fred's demand of £6 million. As for Stormrider he is off his head.
-
The only way we can do it is by some miracle Pompey don't apply, but that looks unlikely.
-
How can you argue the Roeder inherited the better squad? Souness had Bellamy, Shearer, Kluivert, Dyer and Robert who at the time were all very talented players and had CL potential. Not to mention this season is totally incomaprible due to the fact we have had the worst injury crisis in Premiership history.

Given his world class performance (one pass) the other day there is no way we can risk him in a reserve match. With Duff injured and zoggy in the reserves i think Roeder might play Luque on Sunday Doubt it. Zoggy is probobly in the reserves to build up some form for Sunday.
-
Very much doubt this, especially with Roeder apparently being so committed to the young kids.
-
Did history start in 2005? Marcelino and Fumaca to name just two... Niether cost anywhere the amount of Luque, thus making Luque the biggest flop.
-
Jesus christ, I've pionted out this to you several times it is Sibierski not Sibreski.
-
It's a toss up between him and Boumsong as to who is the biggest flop of NUFC history. I'd go with Luque.

2 years with an option for a 3rd year.

I'm all for trying it.

You don't understand. Fred is desperate to get into G14 as he should be for our future...This kind of thing are test cases that that can set precedents. Sorry but just seems like more "look at me" nonense from the thick t***. He may not be the best Chairman in the world but he definetly has some business pedigree and obviously knows when he can use the legal system to benefit the club e.g the VAT case.

In the last paragraph he's talking about signing a new scout not a new player. Glenn Roeder will fly off on a European scouting mission this week as he closes in on several summer transfer targets. The Newcastle boss will take in a league game on the Continent, either France or Italy, to run the rule over potential signings. And he last night insisted that United are in a position to move swiftly at the end of the season to land the men he wants. "Recruiting for next season is ongoing - we're watching players all the time," said Roeder, chasing three defenders and a midfielder. Firstly, that's not the last paragraph and secondly, what is wrong with looking at Europeon players? Your clutching at straws to try and make Roeder look bad. You should know by now that a lot of things Roeder tells the press are deliberately misleading, such as the "I have no interest in Onyewu" quote from mid-January.

-
This isn't about the £6m, he has already settled that with FIFA. This is about the couple of hundred thousand that we had to pay to send Owen to Colorado and for his rehab.
