Give this lad another 10 games under his belt and he'll start to shine. Problem with our midfield compared to the top 4 sides is how solid they are at the back. Our players are often restricted because they know they've got to double up quickly to help out an average right and left back. Get some real quailty and we'll see our midfield pushing that bit further forward.

What concerns? That we're not as good as Chelsea on their own patch? We created a decent amount of chances and didn't give them too many clear cut ones either. On a different day, we could easily have come away with something. What more did you expect? To give them a fight. We created chances, that's a hell of a lot more than better Newcastle teams than this have done on that ground. You could also say those Chelsea sides were better than the current one is.

So annoying that so many influential players are off the boil at once. We had 3 chances to score, 2 of which should have been buried. Ben Arfa's was a little more difficult, but should have at least hit the target. Hopefully things will start to click a bit more soon.

As much as I love Jonas for his work ethic, he offers very little going forward. I think Marv deserves a go for a few games, and maybe bring Jonas on for Anita\Tiote later on.
