  1. Rio's a cunt fuck him! Think Barry should get it! Lesser of several evils if you ask me
  2. Have to say i'd have liked him only on loan but I think Saviola is the better prospect, Can play as striker or attacking midfield. We'd only really need a powerhouse in a holding midfield role and a left back. Ideal situation is Saviola, Attacking midfielder, Holding Midfielder and left back but a bit of a big ask in 2 weeks unless the deals have been worked on for sometime.
  3. Nice but I think we could afford to drop butt for this one as sloppy passing is something we don't need at home ------------Given Beye Colo Bass Enrique Jonas Guth Duff Milner ------------------Zoggy ----------Oba
  4. Been thinking that recently myself actually. In Keegan I trust, and if Keegan trusts there's some ability in Smith that he can unlock, even if it's deep down inside him, I'm leaning towards giving Smith a second chance, viewing him as "new" this season and ruling out how completely utterly f***ing s**** he was last season. This of course will only last 'til he puts his legs on the field again and leaves without scoring. That's all the little fucker gets as a second chance from me. I'll be looking most forward to seeing a really fit Viduka, if Duff is anything to go by. A really fit Viduka imo is on par with Berbatov if not better.
  5. Nice one Looks like a stalking site mind lol
  6. Not posted the full article as it's quite long but a decent read whilst we're waiting for this WOW signing. http://www.411mania.com/sports/other_sports/83047/Breaking-The-Offside-Trap-08.19.08:-Doom-and-Toon?.htm
  7. Don't believe it for a second however if he was banging 30+ goals in a season i'd have no problem with it. But when is he ever going to manage a full season again! If it is true i'd be very shocked to say the least

    Lookalikes

Quality. Don't get that. Who is it? Top one looks smarmy because he doesn't have to work for a living!
  9. If you turn it upside down, he looks like he's swimming in sewage
  10. Be interesting to see Bassong with Colo tbh that's if Cacapa's not fit.
  11. Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuud Err we've failed in our bid according to the sunday sun!
  12. Spot on comparison!! He's a subtle striker with pace, when he played for Barca he was used in quite a few positions and is very versatile, he has a calm head on him around the box and can play as a lone striker but I think he is best playing just behind the main striker (vids or Martins). Attacking Midfielder i'd play him as just slotted behind the front two.
  13. God I hope so, would be a great signing If it was Eto'o my line up for Bolton would be this Given Beye Taylor Colo Enrique Guthrie Jonas Duff Owen Martins Eto'o I really don't see why Eto'o would leave Barca to come to us, at least not now anyway. I don't but it's nice to dream
  14. God I hope so, would be a great signing If it was Eto'o my line up for Bolton would be this Given Beye Taylor Colo Enrique Guthrie Jonas Duff Owen Martins Eto'o
  15. The t*** bottled it though Somethings got to be done about how many biased decisions man u get their way, it's sickening at times
  16. Ya never know Would take him and Saviola.
  17. Yep quality but he got homesick and is back in Argentina isn't he? 30 mind so it's a no go i'd expect
  18. Rumours from were? Not the greatest source i agree, buts its a rumour nonetheless http://www.newcastleunited-mad.co.uk/news/loadnews.asp?cid=TMNW&id=402753 Henry's still good but certainly goes against our new policy. I can't see Keegan signing anyone older than 27 tbh How old is Eto'o again? hmmmmmmmmm
  19. One thing I hope is we get all the players we need before the Arsenal game, going there with a decent squad and a mentality like we had at man poo would be something to enjoy.
  20. Quality player on his day and would form a solid base to the midfield 4 Players Saviola Tiago Appiah Taiwo or another and think that would be good enough to push for 6th spot
  21. KEEGAN WAITING ON `WOW` FACTOR Posted 18/08/08 07:15 Kevin Keegan must now wait to see if Newcastle's mooted 'wow' signing comes off. The Toon opened their Premier League season impressively by holding champions Manchester United to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday. There could be more additions to Keegan's squad before the transfer window closes, with owner Mike Ashley apparently having promised a 'wow' signing. Argentina star Javier Saviola has been mentioned but Keegan's demands are rather more straightforward. "Too often in the recent past we have bought players who have not been quite good enough," he said. "They have either not settled or not understood what it means to play for Newcastle. "You can't just say good players can play at Newcastle because history will prove they cannot." For a team that conceded 11 goals in two meetings with Manchester United last season and have not won at Old Trafford since 1972, Sunday provided a positive start to the new campaign. "I don't think it has been a bad summer but then I have not been reading what has been written," said Keegan. "But in football at the moment, you don't want these things on your doorstep, at your club. "It is nice to get a good result so it goes on to another club but I don't envy whoever it is." Get em in Kev
  22. Bolton will be trying what they did last season, ugly shite football. We need to get a goal early on against them to draw them out. That's the secret to finishing in europe beating teams like bolton at home
  23. Aye on the redcafe manc forum they're saying Fergie should buy him lol Loved the way he was so committed in what ever he did! No hiding at any stage, in fact all the team never went missing.
  24. Louise Taylor go fuck yourself you dyke! You have bought some more turds to go with the ones festering from last year! Reid is the biggest job i've ever seen, and no dog molester could ever change that! Up the toon! Fuck i'm as pissed as fuck and i've supped all the booze were supposed to take round to a dinner party tonight!
  25. If we had been dry bummed into submission I could say it would have been hard to attract top quality signings. After this we must be a better prospect than the scouse Mackems! Tiago, Mouthinio, Or Saviola come here boys and get us back into europe! Keegan! Keegan! Keegan! The only time Fergie would have given us praise is if we would have lost! He know's we were no pushover!
