what would you do if..... alex ferguson left man united so we laid big sam off and fergie came here and sam went there and then the won eveyrthing going and we got relegated 4 seasons in a row and then fergie said fuck this im off and went to darlington and won them the european cup and then we ended up with another crap manager and.....
i would just do a joey barton, i would be soooo gutted and al that

According to the Sunday Sun, encouraging if true
agreed.
very good news if true, would like to see him given some much needed funds in january, creative midfielder is a must
-
-
was awesome today by all accounts
-
for some crazy reason, i fancy us today.
2-1 toon
-
that kaboul is one of the worst players i have seen in a while (if i forget boum).
pair him with dawson and your well fucked. they could do with big sol back
-
aye, saw that. its a shame that the mongs also think we wont rest until shearer is appointed.
-
duff has come out and supported sam today, saying they should take the blame, not him
-
beeb also carrying it
-
the best thing he cold do imo would be to swallow his pride and go to 4-4-2 which is what we have the players to do
-
if sam goes, it'll be shearer, no doubt
-
what the full story is I dont know but I have just heard the headline on TalkSport saying that Sam "Isnt happy that his future rests in the hands of his players".
I would like to know what the actual quotes were and in what context this was said but its hard to think of a way that this could be suggested that wont instantly find him having "lost the dressing room".
It appears that he is looking for scapegoats... its Roeder all over again...
Sad excuse for a man if he isnt prepared to accept and admit his own mistakes and failings. I think if he came out now and admitted what he has done wrong, he may pull back some of his detractors. Comingo ut with s*** like this is just feeding the fire.
I am seriously starting to think he is trying to lose his job on purpose.
his world interview carries a lot of the quotes, but i dont think the 'my future in their hands' shite is on.
sounds like he is flagging
-
i have to say, i am still with the stick with him camp, but things are starting to get worrying, and it is difficult to argue with a lot of points that are being made against him.
his post match interview (on world) was interesting, doesnt pull any punches and i think some heads (emre's) will be rolling (although i doubt the one that should, smiths, will).
he deserves the rest of the season imo.
if he would only go 4-4-2, which is the formation best suited to the players we have here, he could be succesfull (a lot quicker).
one of 2 things need to happen, we either need to under-go mass changes on the playing side and ship in players who suit his 4-3-3, or simply go to 4-4-2.
i dont think its going to take a genius to see which will be best.
lovejoy,
Allardyce is taking the piss when he blames the players. I don't think anybody was that bad today, none were that good either and that was down to the way we tried to play, it was horrible to have to stand and watch, it was almost as if we were just going through the motions for 93 minutes. I couldn't work out what we were trying to do and I was just watching it from a distance, it must be a mare for the players trying to adapt to that sort of s**** all of the time.
Given and Smith have had a bit of stick but Smith was playing in a roll and in a position which the manager asked him to play, he gets no blame from me as I think he did the best he could in the wrong position.
i'll take yor word as it sounds as if you were there and i wasnt.
although i must agree i have wondered what the fuck our plan was in the last few games
-
he deserves the rest of the season imo.
No he doesn't.
Tell me why?
because belive it or not there are still stats that back him up, and although i agree we have been dogshit lately, this is what happens when you undergo mass change.
as i said in a previous post, i still think he will get it right, but its getting harder and harder to defend him.

What did he say about Emre?
He's having a f****** laugh picking on individuals like. So Emre goes out, who replaces him? Barton presumably, who he binned from the sixteen this week?
nothing in particular, just stabbed at our 'creative players' and blamed them. lets be honest, emre is our only one!
i doubt he would have been having a go at duff as its his first game back, and milner was 'out of position' on the right so it cant have been his fault!

he should have saved it, he stepped to his left first and then couldnt get across to his right.
starting to agree more and more that we should cash in while we can
Think we've missed the boat there, personally.
i fear you may be right
-
The goalkeeper is the last of our f****** worries right now.
i dont agree.
i reckon shay has cost us around 5/6 points this season. not good enough
-
Amazingly, we've got the same points as we had in 03/04 under Robson after Boxing Day, this has been our best return points wise for 5 seasons.
What that doesn't tell you is that we need to play the top four 6 times in our remaining 17 matches and that the football has been atrocious for the most part, though.
still a very interesting stat

gotta be said, i'm a fan of Allardyce but this becoming nothing short of ridiculous
exactly how i feel
-
Employ David Moyes now
The same Moyes who has been at Everton for years, building a new team...?
nail on the head
-
i am still in the keep sam camp, but i think he is going to start to struggle for time
-
radio claim otherwise
What would you do if.......... Sam is sacked &..........
