wondering if anyone can help... me and my old man got 2 tickets last season, sitting next to each other, in bar 1892, which cost the thick end of a grand each. we are looking to move to the east stand next season, to somwthing less expensive, which i believe asking to move is relatively straight forward (if there are spares in the area you want to move of course)? does anyone know if you can chose your seats like you used to be able to, i.e they tell you what is available and you can literally go and sit in them and see what you think before buying?

Maybe. If they're using the same technology as they do at City. Here they have these Matchcard dealies where you buy the games individually. Its basically the same gizmo as a normal seasoncard, but the turnstile won't open unless you've paid for the game beforehand. thats why i hink clubs should inroduce the direct debit to pay for your season ticket monthly, i.e, if you have missed a payment, they block your card and you cant get in? would be much more cost effective for fans?

A gratuitous, told-you-so bump based on Anal Oliver's scribblings...? it was a pure guess, but i do think thats where he will go. they are desperate for a goal getter and he is desperate to play for a top 4 club. wages could be an issue i reckon though, cant see them paying him anywhere near what we do?

To be fair the team is rotten and the club is badly mismanaged. Boiled my piss with his owen remarks. Oliver Holt gave a more balanced view because he is actually a Newcastle fan. personally, i dont think the team is 'rotten'. i think the last 2 managers have been though. we'll never know of course buti reckon allardyce would have had this team top 6 this season.

as has already been said, i would look to get him to extend for a further 12 months, and if he wont, hawk him around for £9m. cant be arsed with a 'will he/wont he' debate every transfer window anyway. -
not to happy that he is doing it via the press. but this lad is a future captain in my opinion, and with the right coaching can go to the very top. he is better than J.T was at his age imo
