Somebody yesterday mentioned a name from the past, Bobby Shinton. Watching us against Wigan was like watching the team he played in for us, that's worrying.
-
Lets hope when the time comes, be it tomorrow or in five years time, that Ashley and Mort don't listen to people like you. A large section of our crowd yesterday were singing for Shearer, not me I'll add.
-
I voted, No & he has himself to blame.
-
No I didn't see him clear it off the line but I did hear it mentioned somewhere. Who has ever said a manager needs to win the league in 6 months? Oh, I see, nobody, it's just one of those crazy statements some people come up with to try and make it look as if we're asking too much of a manager to expect to get something against relegation fodder.
-
I've been at Stamford Bridge when we've lost 6-0, I hope that ones not beaten.
-
Give over man, we didn't have a shot worth talking about on goal all day, Titus had a field day as he wasn't under pressure throughout the game, he could have spent the game on his arse and it wouldn't have made it any easier for him.
-
They are still shite regardless of who the manager is, they were so shite it's hard to understand how anybody would class them as anything other than shite.
-
lovejoy, Allardyce is taking the piss when he blames the players. I don't think anybody was that bad today, none were that good either and that was down to the way we tried to play, it was horrible to have to stand and watch, it was almost as if we were just going through the motions for 93 minutes. I couldn't work out what we were trying to do and I was just watching it from a distance, it must be a mare for the players trying to adapt to that sort of shite all of the time. Given and Smith have had a bit of stick but Smith was playing in a roll and in a position which the manager asked him to play, he gets no blame from me as I think he did the best he could in the wrong position.
-
Excellent, Derby drew 2-1 with Liverpool today. Wigan have averaged a goal a game all season so don't look at one result in isolation, before today they'd won 3 games out of 18 and drawn 4 lost 11.
-
I wouldn't sack him now anyway without a replacement, even if it was my decision.
-
Wrong, if we win it'll be the fluke of the season and will make no difference.
-
Amazing, I expected a defence of Allardyce.
-
The only way you could see extended highlights of us is to play it in slow motion.
-
You wouldn't, the American Ref' wouldn't let you.
-
Agreed, Man U away is my biggest worry. "enter name of team here" away is my worry Fixed
-
You're talking rubbish, I never called for Bobby’s head at any time from the day he started to the day he was sacked. How long does it take until the manager develops a set of balls and tries to beat an almost certainty for relegation?
-
You expect to see an improvement next year? What will happen then to get Allardyce to try playing 2 up front against a team that looks odds-on to get relegated? Seriously, what will happen then to make a difference? The manager is costing us points through his formations; if he's not picking the team then he can't affect the outcome. Who is available is irrelevant; it's who we'd want that would make a difference as we'd have money to tempt managers who we couldn't have looked at a few months ago.
-
Agreed, Man U away is my biggest worry.
-
I predict if Chelsea fail to put a team out we'll still play for a draw.
-
Agreed, some people must think Derby and Wigan are good teams.

I think it's time to get your head out of the sand rather than elaborate. I don’t think expecting to give the shite of the league a good game once in a while is too much to ask.
-
We're losing games because of him, not in spite of him, he's not worth keeping and I couldn't give a crap what he won at Bolton.
-
I can't get over how spineless Allardyce was today, going to Wigan and playing 1 up front is as bad as it gets, he's got nowt between his legs, certainly no balls anyway.
-
We're shite and we're sick of it, we're shite and we're sick of it, we're shite and we're sick of it. That was loud and clear for all to hear.
