  1. Mort did say that we've already sanctioned deals for Joey Barton, Mark Viduka, David Rozehnal and Geremi. He also said that We’re still looking to strengthen the squad, which we have started to do in recent weeks.
  2. It may have passed you by that the last time we had this many new signings at this time of year was before Bobby had arrived, I can't tie that in with anything that happened last year, can you? As for the slowness of the current board possibly costing us signings, that may be the case, I'm sure they'll learn if it is down to them. The fact that we've got 4 through the door proves if they are a little slow it can't be too much of a problem.
  3. He probably doesn't but I can't imagine how many threads will be bumped if we do. All of us bastards that wanted change will all be proven wrong.
  4. The year before we'd signed 2 players by this time, possibly 3 as I'm not 100% sure when Krul signed other than it was about this time. How many years do you want to go back in an attempt to try and prove something?
  5. I was thinking exactly that about the slow signings, by this time last year we had signed (scratches head, whistles a little, slowly drinks coffee, scratches head again and gives up trying) nobody.
  6. Getting back off topic, Shepherd has no say in anything which happens at the club, he's not even in a position to ask somebody to fill the bog roll holders up. Fact.
  7. I can't see anything in Allardyce that I can say he's done wrong yet. It might turn out that he has made mistakes but it's far too early to say one way or the other.
  8. I'll put money on it that he'll have a go at any of them.
  9. He's still a young player and some of his daftest moments were when he was a lot younger, this could bring out the best in him.
  10. Giving his the job might be the thing to change him, we'll soon see if it goes to his head or not and if it does, will it change him for the better or the worse? It's going to be an interesting decision if it is true.
  11. He wouldn't have been my first choice but it could knock some of the stupidity out of him, it could be what makes him as a player if it calms him down and removes some of his rash decisions. He does use his mouth a bit during a game so I don't see why he shouldn't get it apart from his age, I suppose if you're good enough then you're old enough, we'll see.
  12. I'd take more notice of a him, a former member of the Magpie Group who went out and helped Sir John gain control over the club than I would of you, although I'm sure you know more than he does about what went on at that time. I see. You take notice of someone with "more experience" when it suits you, but not when it doesn't ie I have supported NUFC more and longer than you ? I'm not surprised. Do you always look at things so illogically ? The answer is yes, you do. Hence the refusal to answer what I keep asking you. If Allardyce is successful who will you credit ? If he isn't who will you blame ? We know why you won't answer. You're a joke. Everybody else knows why you don't answer too. As for the magpie group : 1. Belonging to the group doesn;t mean you know more about the club than those who weren't in it. 2. I understand that the magpie group wasn't given an insight into the affairs of the club - hence macbeths bitterness at not being allowed it for free mackems.gif - which means that merlins [nothing personal here] doesn't know any more than I do, or it means that macbeth is telling lies ? Are you blind or what? I've just provided you with a link to where I answered the question the first time you asked it. You really do seem to like making yourself look like a fool, does this happen by accident or is it something you work at while off-line? Merlin helped out but doesn't know any more than you? Arrogance from you knows no bounds.
  13. You'll find an excuse to keep him fitting in with how you see him, even if he's quoted saying something which doesn't fit in with your ideal Mr Shepherd, you're like a character out of Viz the way you go on.
  14. Few, if any know how we'll be informed about what is going on within the club, time will tell but we're unlikely to get to know too much until the review of the club has been carried out.
  15. I'd take more notice of a him, a former member of the Magpie Group who went out and helped Sir John gain control over the club than I would of you, although I'm sure you know more than he does about what went on at that time.
  16. No you're a joke, you questioned if I could read etc but the answer to your question was done ages ago and you replied to it here, it's post #2767 http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=40533.msg865350#msg865350 You replied to it in post #2773 Maybe you could now admit that all of those things you said applied to me for not answering your question now apply to you. Getting back to my question about the Shepherd quote, what's the answer? I've quoted him and what he thought about the running of the club, he clearly thought it was him, is he a liar? Or, do you defend him even when he admits to doing something?
  17. I think he'd be slightly past it.
  18. Not a chance regarding Pele, I'd have walked barefoot over broken glass to have been able to watch him.
  19. Grasping at straws again I see, you've made some incredible claims in that post, pathetic and once again avoiding answering a question you don't want to answer.
  20. That wasn't me quoting myself, I was quoting Shepherd who was complaining that HE couldn’t run the club, HE not THEM. He also said that HE wasn't prepared to put up with it. Are you calling him a liar? If Allardyce is successful, who will you credit ? If he isn't, who will you blame ? Why don't you answer ? Are you stupid, can you read mackems.gif I answered that question the first time you asked, now answer the one above.
  21. My mate was saying that he'd heard that Allardyce was interested in Phillip Lahm but I've seen nothing anywhere about us and him being linked. I'd love that one to come true but can't see it happening.
  22. That wasn't me quoting myself, I was quoting Shepherd who was complaining that HE couldn’t run the club, HE not THEM. He also said that HE wasn't prepared to put up with it. Are you calling him a liar?
