  1. If you had £100 in your bank and were getting 50p extra back per year and you owed somebody £100 and that cost you £10, what would you do?
  2. Ashley owns the club so he owns the debt, I really can't see him holding the levels of debt that we probably have and paying interest to service them. The interest rate on savings is usually less than the rate for borrowing although that isn't always the case as you can get a fixed rate while low and get more back when the interest rate is high.
  3. Vic, you've lost this one before so I'm a bit surprised you try it again, I'm sure Wullie had the shares in nufc as being below 20p, down from 135p.
  4. Where did that lot come from? You're listening to the voices again, either the tablets are not working or you've forgot to take them again, some people never learn.
  5. Dave pulled the plug on the server to get more people donating, as if we wouldn't work that one out.
  6. As for you supporting Souness, I must admit that one is not something I can say is 100% true, I can only go by what people have said, people who I have no reason to think are lying, you on the other hand are not Leazes, so who should I believe? I thought one of the reasons you thought we should have appointed Roeder was because we’d appointed winning managers in the past and they had failed so the natural thing to do was appoint a failure. I don’t think the European qualifications, FA Cup finals and 3 league finishes are failure, taking us from 2nd in the Premiership to 14th (edit 13th) and taking a profitable club and building up massive debts is certainly a failure, maybe you think that is a success. What did we win for qualifying for Europe? What did we win for those cup finals? What did we win for those 3 best finishes, the ones so good that we sacked the manager who achieved them? That question I’m avoiding to answer seems to be a big problem for you as I answered it weeks ago and have posted a link to it, you even followed the link and started posting in the same thread.
  7. If I was in Shepherd's former position I wouldn't have needed hindsight, unlike you and him I knew both Souness and Roeder were not good enough, it's foresight.
  8. I'll inform my opinion if and when it happens, not before.
  9. In the same way that the major shareholders in any company could but rarely do veto decisions made by the chairman.
  10. Mort did say that we've already sanctioned deals for Joey Barton, Mark Viduka, David Rozehnal and Geremi. He also said that We’re still looking to strengthen the squad, which we have started to do in recent weeks.
  11. It may have passed you by that the last time we had this many new signings at this time of year was before Bobby had arrived, I can't tie that in with anything that happened last year, can you? As for the slowness of the current board possibly costing us signings, that may be the case, I'm sure they'll learn if it is down to them. The fact that we've got 4 through the door proves if they are a little slow it can't be too much of a problem.
  12. He probably doesn't but I can't imagine how many threads will be bumped if we do. All of us bastards that wanted change will all be proven wrong.
  13. The year before we'd signed 2 players by this time, possibly 3 as I'm not 100% sure when Krul signed other than it was about this time. How many years do you want to go back in an attempt to try and prove something?
  14. I was thinking exactly that about the slow signings, by this time last year we had signed (scratches head, whistles a little, slowly drinks coffee, scratches head again and gives up trying) nobody.
  15. Getting back off topic, Shepherd has no say in anything which happens at the club, he's not even in a position to ask somebody to fill the bog roll holders up. Fact.
  16. I can't see anything in Allardyce that I can say he's done wrong yet. It might turn out that he has made mistakes but it's far too early to say one way or the other.
  17. I'll put money on it that he'll have a go at any of them.
  18. He's still a young player and some of his daftest moments were when he was a lot younger, this could bring out the best in him.
  19. Giving his the job might be the thing to change him, we'll soon see if it goes to his head or not and if it does, will it change him for the better or the worse? It's going to be an interesting decision if it is true.
  20. He wouldn't have been my first choice but it could knock some of the stupidity out of him, it could be what makes him as a player if it calms him down and removes some of his rash decisions. He does use his mouth a bit during a game so I don't see why he shouldn't get it apart from his age, I suppose if you're good enough then you're old enough, we'll see.
  21. I'd take more notice of a him, a former member of the Magpie Group who went out and helped Sir John gain control over the club than I would of you, although I'm sure you know more than he does about what went on at that time. I see. You take notice of someone with "more experience" when it suits you, but not when it doesn't ie I have supported NUFC more and longer than you ? I'm not surprised. Do you always look at things so illogically ? The answer is yes, you do. Hence the refusal to answer what I keep asking you. If Allardyce is successful who will you credit ? If he isn't who will you blame ? We know why you won't answer. You're a joke. Everybody else knows why you don't answer too. As for the magpie group : 1. Belonging to the group doesn;t mean you know more about the club than those who weren't in it. 2. I understand that the magpie group wasn't given an insight into the affairs of the club - hence macbeths bitterness at not being allowed it for free mackems.gif - which means that merlins [nothing personal here] doesn't know any more than I do, or it means that macbeth is telling lies ? Are you blind or what? I've just provided you with a link to where I answered the question the first time you asked it. You really do seem to like making yourself look like a fool, does this happen by accident or is it something you work at while off-line? Merlin helped out but doesn't know any more than you? Arrogance from you knows no bounds.
  22. You'll find an excuse to keep him fitting in with how you see him, even if he's quoted saying something which doesn't fit in with your ideal Mr Shepherd, you're like a character out of Viz the way you go on.
  23. Few, if any know how we'll be informed about what is going on within the club, time will tell but we're unlikely to get to know too much until the review of the club has been carried out.
