Exactly, we need to prioritise to strengthen where we are at our weakest, it's not that difficult to work out.

Only you can answer that one.

:sleepy1: I'm just off to get something to keep my eyes open before I read any more of your posts, I'll be back in a minute.

I questioned your reasons for wanting 2 forwards so I did see what you had wrote, you think Martins and Owen might not be able to play together then you mention that Owen might leave the club, both are possibilities but neither can really be predicted unless you have a crystal ball. You want the club to spend on a forward because Owen & Martins may not be able to play together or Owen might go against his word and want to play for Liverpool again. If we splash out on the off-chance that one of those things might happen then we're a joke. I'm sure Roeder bought Martins while knowing that he'd be partnering him up front once Owen was fit again. Are you saying that Roeder was wrong if that was his assessment? What I said about Sibierski is that he has been offered a new contract so will be here as back-up, I didn't say anything about how good he was or wasn't. I don't think he's brilliant but I do think he's good enough as back-up for 1 more season. It might not work out that way but I'd take the gamble that he'll be good enough to cover others when injured. I do think Ameobi is good enough as back-up, I never mentioned Luque, I didn't even think about him so where did that name come from, is it the voices again?

Stop trying to get out of it, thicko. You were thinking about it and he knew it, you've been caught red handed, just admit it and get on with life and bow to he who knows everything.

You think that if the club should spend "serious money" it should be on a new striker because you think that Martins and Owen might not work together. I guess Roeder will be rushing out now and buying one if he knows that you think they might not work together. Have another for your efforts, well done. If Owen goes then yes, we'll need to replace him, nobody has any reason to think he's going though so why replace him while he's still here and not expected to go anywhere? He might be here for the rest of his career for all anybody knows. He's almost certain to be back next season, so is Shola, a player who can fill in for injuries, he's done it and scored goals when playing. Sibierski has been offered another contract so we have 4 players for 2 positions which should be more than enough considering the lack of funds we seem to be working with, we certainly don't need 2 more forwards like you seem to think. You seem hell bent on getting a new forward in at all costs, in fact you now want two of them, no matter what happens in other areas. We need a balanced team, not one which is top heavy in certain areas while others are as weak as piss. We've got more than enough midfielders so if we spend on that area then it should be self financed, one in one out. If we have new money then it should go on the defence, other areas should be strengthened as a lesser priority.
  9. That's the way I feel, I also think the FA have shit on him to a certain extent, leaking things to the press is terrible if he is innocent. The FA have a lot to answer for as I would think they have a duty of care, the same as any company has to its employers, they are potentially creating a lot of problems for Emre if he's innocent, mud sticks. I wouldn't like to be labelled a racist.

Sorry, but I would rather we didn't cheat, that's the way I am and I'll not change. I don't care if it's one of our players or the opposition, its shit as far as I'm concerned. I hate seeing so much cheating in football, a lot of forwards drop a foot when in the box in hope of getting a penalty and they usually get away with it. I hate seeing all of the shirt pulling which goes on, it spoils the game for me as it's not necessary, video evidence is used for banning people for dodgy tackles and I would love to see the cheats getting bans for diving, no matter who they are or who they play for.

    Duff's Dive

I doubt many people thought about how they felt about Ronaldo when Duff dived.

I went for below par, I might change my mind later as the last two games have gone well for us, we've done OK against Liverpool and last night looked like a walk in the park. My fear is that this might just be a blip and we'll get beat the next time we play a team who we expect to beat in the league. Liverpool was a game you'd expect the players to motivate themselves for and last night was against a team who looked as if they didn't expect to win. Time will tell, I'd like to see him change my mind.
  13. Bellamy has already been mentioned, I'm sure he was classed as the same while at Coventry, he did alright when he came here. I'm not certain that he would have done a good job here (Mpenza), you just don't know. Certain players are brilliant for one club yet fail at another, somethimes they just feel right at one club and play much better because of it.
  14. would he have scored 206 goals in 10 seasons while missing the most part of at least 2 of them is the question you should be asking yourself Shearer didn't score 206 goals in 10 seasons after Robson tried to sell him.

    Duff's Dive

Cheating bastard, I'd be gutted if it was against us so feel just the same when it's for us.
  16. Let's see what happens when the opposition doesn't motivate the players, if we start beating the lower teams then I might agree.
  17. A statue for Shearer at this stage is crazy.
  18. My original thoughts before the season started was between 8th and 12th, I'll stick to that, I did get a bit worried around the time we played Sheffield but things have improved since then.
  19. Just when I think you can't get any more boring you prove me wrong, you really take some beating. aye, all these anti NUFC posts are rather tedious aren't they I'll take it back then, I'm on the edge of my seat after reading that one.
  20. Martins has got the most important thing right, he knows where the goal is and can build on that.
  21. Just when I think you can't get any more boring you prove me wrong, you really take some beating.
  22. He knows where the goal is and seems to be learning all of the time, he's going to be excellent if he keeps making progress the way he has so far.
  23. good "planning" ? I would say so, but I expect those who slate the club whatever they do will say it is lucky or something http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/759/jesusweptyt6.th.jpg
