  1. Look, let's get this straight. If you don't come up with an answer then the clubs debt problems are down to you the same as the clubs problems are down to those who supported Souness once he was given the managers job, they have nothing to do with anybody else. God, you're a slow learner.
  2. Agreed, Bagio, it's up to you to solve our debt problem, sort it out and quick.
  3. I've just been in chat, I think he's got more than this one to worry about.
  4. If being unable to see into the future is a sign of me losing my marbles then it's possible. If expecting people to be able to see into the future is a sign then you're the one losing your marbles.
  5. It is prity straightforward when you put it thay way but you were dropping things in different posts, one was after I had made a comment yet you expected me to know something before you'd said it, you even claimed that I'd commented about something but you hadn't even posted it until after I'd actually commented. I don't have any problem with it, I was wondering why you were in the corner of the Gallowgate when you'd claimed in the past that you had a season ticket in the Paddock but you've cleared that up.

    Hitzfeld

He's not doing too bad since taking the job on, they were 12 points behind the league leaders when he was given it, it'll be down to 4 points if Bayern win tomorrow and they're in QF of the Champions League and have a good chance of reaching the semi-final. It'll be intereesting to see what happens at the end of the season when they start talking about an extended contract, they want him to stay for another couple of years.
  7. Again, learn to read or comprehend, I have no idea which is causing you the problem but it's one of those two. I’ve actually said that I’ve replied so you should take care when making accusations, brain before fingers. It’s a waste of time trying to get anything through to you, it’ll go straight over your head. It would appear that the saying is correct that you can take a horse to water but you can't make it drink, at least it is in your case. Do you - or do you not - agree that a board who runs a club that qualifies for europe more than any other club bar 4 during the course of a decade, buys major England internationals and oversees an average 50,000+ gate, is running the club better than a board who spends the vast majority of the time in the 2nd division or fighting relegation, sells its best players and struggles to half fill a stadium to be making a better job of running the club ? Yes or No ? You can't answer with a yes or no.
  8. You're trying to change history, yet again. I asked you about your season ticket before you mentioned when you had it. Here's the sequence of posts to make it easy for you. http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=36936.msg734382#msg734382 http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=36936.msg734417#msg734417 http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=36936.msg734554#msg734554 http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=36936.msg734558#msg734558 http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=36936.msg734561#msg734561 http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php?topic=36936.msg734744#msg734744 You should use your head before your fingers, your desperation to prove a point just makes you look stupid, again. I said I was behind the Gallowgate goal when he scored against Chelsea in 1969. It is clear to anyone, well almost anyone, that this is before I moved into the paddock when I bought a season ticket for that area. Have you commented yet on how we achieved all those piss poor league positions, in the 2nd division or fighting relegation for the vast majority of the time, for 30 years prior to the current board taking over the club ? You're commenting on a post where I said you'd just tried to change history and you've done the same thing in your reply, I've no intention of trying to comment on how we achieved those piss poor league positions and I wasn't asked to until now, you've obviously seen the answer eventually so have now changed the question. I said they were crap and that's a good enough answer as far as I'm concerned.

  11. Learn to read you silly old fool, it's been answered. You either can't read or you have the memory span of a Goldfish.
  12. Mick

    Pre-season

Is this the first time he's missed the chance of a few quick £'s? Maybe he's seen the negative results of putting money before the good of the club, it is good to see a change in priorities with the possibility of the team coming first, it's a start.
  13. I don't see why height should be too much of a problem as long as we use people like Taylor and Bramble for corners and learn to play the ball to feet, the pace that these two have will more than compensate for a lack of height, obviously Owen might come back slower. Owen and Martins could cause chaos to any defence if we play a quick ball over the top, I would guess that teams will defend very deep against those two, that's when they'll need to be a bit clever but work on the training pitch should sort that out. If we can learn to draw teams onto us and break with speed they will be deadly, to do that though we need to be comfortable in defence and play balls that the pair can run onto.
  14. I'm lying because you said you had a season ticket for the Paddock but now you say that you didn't while Gibb was at the club, an interesting and desperate theory, keep up the good work. How long did you have your season ticket in the paddock?
  15. I agree being fair, there are quite a few with opposing ideas who are just as willing to join in. Most of those with opposing ideas at least give Shepherd credit when it's due. I've given him credit for his part in the ground development and his part in the Academy and training facilities, I would even credit him for his latest appointment to the board. NE5 sees anything said against Shepherd as a reason to defend him, he even defends the appointment of Souness by saying that Liverpool also got it wrong when they appointed Souness. Liverpool appointed him before he'd developed his reputation as being a poor manager who fell out with players. Another Lie........hardly surprising from the number 1 KK bandwagon jumper on the board. As you are well aware, the one time you got something right is when you copied and pasted my comments that Souness was a s**** manager and the club should never have appointed him. Would you please post us your opinions and comments on the league positions I posted under our old board running the club, as you think that spending years in the 2nd division is the same as qualifying regularly for europe, which is what the positions in question show ? I hope you're taking the piss, for your sake. If not then I would suggest a quick visit to these http://www.prioryhealthcare.com/, you're not alone, it would appear you're 1 in 6.

  17. I wouldn't say it's all of the younger ones, I used to sit two seats away from a bloke who must have been in his fifties, he always turned up pissed, slurring his speech and smoking rollies, I never heard him say anything until one of our players made a mistake. He spent all of the game either chain smoking or moaning, I'm not joking about him never saying anything positive, the bloke had my blood pressure going through the roof, everybody reacted the same towards him. Most people around us spent most of our time telling him to shut his mouth, 5 minutes later somebody would make a mistake and he saw that as justification for everything.
  18. The board isn't the same as in 1992, you're wrong. I think only two of our current board members were on the board in 1992, Douglas and Freddy, the chairman was also different. who happen to be the 2 major shareholders ;D So when you refer to the board you don't actually mean the board, you mean two of them. Good job you're not the person who has a go at people for not being able to quote, you'd look like a right idiot if it was you.
  19. How did you feel when the flat cappers in the Centre Paddock all used to abuse Gibbo, to the extent that Harvey came close to not playing him at home ?? There have always been moaners I was standing in the old corner - where the old flag was - the day he put his 2 fingers up at the boo boys, towards the corner. I wasn't booing though, I never have and never will do that. I thought you had a season ticket for the Paddock?
