It wouldn't be one person having an opinion, you could be the one person in one article but it could be everybody and anybody contributing and it would have no negative effect on here. Your opinion in your posts are worth sharing and you come across well so you could make a difference to how other people form an opinion on the club and how it's run.

It clearly is, you just have to look at what this week has been about.

Would it take much work to get an article out? I would think some of the members of this place are clever enough to knock up a template then it would just need text dropping into the body of the template and then uploading to the server. Maybe sign up to newsnow and get the article listed then everything else would take care of itself after that.

The articles drew in people and they were also read by people who didn't post on the forum. We debate everything to death and go over everything with I fine toothcomb but I think we're missing something. Having articles on the site would take nothing from the forum, it would add to it by reaching out to people who don't use the forum. Some of the posts this week have been brilliant but they aren't being seen enough.

Are we missing something by only being a forum? Originally we has articles which were read by non-members, should that happen again to get stuff across to a wider audience?

What has happened this last week has been fantastic, I can imagine Pardew choking on his cornflakes reading the papers in the morning.

That's gone on for decades, I remember our fans singing "We Hate Cockneys" to Barnsley fans when Keegan played for us, it was meant to be light hearted. Was that the same time it was "acceptable" to throw bananas on the pitch at black players? Obviously I am being tongue in cheek but you get the point, it just makes Newcastle fans look stupid. Throwing bananas has never been acceptable.

Not if Pardew keeps his job.

Agreed, Ashley is being a right bastard with him, just like he was with him at West Ham, Charlton and Southampton. As was mentioned at the match yesterday, it's never the fault of Pardew, or words to that effect.

I didn't have anything said to me and I would have reacted if I had as I was getting angrier as the game went on and had already had an argument with a prick who was applauding Pardew and telling me what a good job he was doing.

One of the loudest chants today was "It's never your fault, it's' never your fault, Alan Pardew, it's never your fault."

He tried to leave the dugout loads of times and went straight back in as soon as the booing started.

Thousands came out and the anti-Pardew and Ashley stuff was brilliant, fans are still leaving.

"The clocks were against us."

I don't care how much we spend if we're getting decent players, I'd rather get them for nothing. The manager and everything ours stands for is my problem and until he goes, I don't go.
