The energy levels were low. The team have been rested but looked 2nd best. It's not good enough, that performance. We come up against a side who gave us a really hard time. We was energyless. We've played for about free minutes. I'm far from comfortable justifying that performance. We're under no elusions and nothing happened today to change our thoughts about nest season. The players don't know what they are doing, they are being asked to play a game they clearly don't understand or have no belief in and that's down to the manager. The players are partly to blame, the manager is by far the biggest problem and getting different players in will make no difference while he's here as they'll come in and shine for a few games then turn to shite like the ones we already have here.

Those words could have been spoken by Pardew, Anderson is as bad as our manager.

The manager coaches the under performing players, he motivates (or doesn't in our case) the players, he selects the players and he tells them how to play the game. Pardew is failing at all of those and that's always going to impact on player performances, it has to.
