It will be interesting to see how we go about playing Southampton, if we have a go at them and try to retain possession then I'll start to think he may learn from his mistakes. If not then it will just be another false dawn like we've seen in the past. Yesterday was brilliant but it was only one game and we've had good games in the past without building on them.
Cabaye was captain in Coloccini's absence and a club being willing to pay money doesn't make an difference. Neither player was allowed to leave and only one initially accepted that.
Anyway, they are both playing for us now so it doesn't matter in the slightest.
I think what Cabaye did was worse, Coloccini clearly has family problems and wanted away but accepts that he's staying with us. I think he cares about the club but cares about his family more, just like most people would.
Exactly, I can't believe how much s*** Cabaye gets compared to Colo who openly admits he's only here because he has to be.
Cabaye refused to play, he effectively went on strike, Coloccini hasn't done that.
I've got a mate who was mates with Pat Howard and Stewie Barrowclough long before they played for us. He hasn't seen Howard since he left Newcastle but he's still friends with Barrowclough who lives in Barnsley and I think he's working in a glass factory after his fruit business went down the shitter.
I've never used the site but just checked and it looks like you have to register https://www.viagogo.co.uk/secure/loginregister/login?ReturnUrl=%2fsecure%2fMyAccount.aspx
Seen that.
Lord_Sugar: "@malc_uk: @Lord_Sugar your very bitter mr sugar!"....your team are very lucky and they dont know how they are winning. Fluke
He should stick to making appalling electronics.
I enjoyed the whole game and I can't remember when that's happened last in the league. We have the players, we just need to use them correctly and we can do really well, fingers crossed it's not a one off.
