I've just named 3 who were worse today.

From today. Ryan Taylor who ran past the player who scored the first Wolves goal, did Taylor even make an attempt at the ball? Williamson who was too busy grabbing the bloke he was next to when they scored the 2nd. Guthrie when he came on and seemed to fail with every attempt at finding a team mate.

Simpson, Williamson and Krul were all far too guilty of that.

I don't disagree, I just think we have bigger problems than him and until the bigger problems are removed I'll concentrate on them unless he's costing us goals or points.

He wasn't at fault for either goal and could have scored for us, he also played the ball in which resulted in us getting our 2nd. He's useless with the ball but he wasn't our worst player today, he was probably 4th worst.

The bit in bold, yes, that's exactly what I'd do. All managers are going to be working under the sort of conditions Pardew is working under and we have a lot more going for us than most clubs.

I would have started Ben Arfa instead of Taylor and I would have let him go where he wanted rather than have Taylor doing that.

We don't have a very good manager, we have an average (at best) manager who I think is getting the best results from the team but not the best performances and I base that on our season so far, not on today. Even now though I think we're close to not getting the points expected because our poor performances are now affecting our points haul in a way that performances were being over shadowed before the New Year. I would go as far as saying we've done nothing of note since the first week in January and even then the performances were far too erratic.

We didn't try to play football.

Wolves were terrible yet they were allowed to come back from being 2 goals behind. Our starting line-up was wrong, our tactics were wrong and the substitutions were wrong.

I would say they have the potential to be but are being held back by poor negative tactics.

A team that is talked about as challenging for Europe should beat the 18th placed team. I guess today was just another one off though.

I will never understand why people follow football only for the result. The result is the most important part of the game but the performance comes a close second for me.

Yes, that's exactly what I was getting at. To me it was just more of his usual bollocks in an attempt to take some of the heat away from his own inept performance.

He might be better off concentrating on the performance of his own team rather than his feelings for other managers.

Guthrie did all he could today to make sure he doesn't play too soon, he was garbage when he came on.
