Photoshop a Newcastle shirt on to him and it's a certainty.

I can't understand how Shola has had his contract renewed this season. He's poor but it's nothing we didn't already know.
-
The end result isn't always the same, see the FA Cup game for a reminder. Nothing is going to come off all of the time and what happened tonight could easily have happened when he got his wonder goal. It's like the lottery, you have to buy a ticket if you are going to win. He does things which will sometimes work and sometimes fail and we have to accept that. We got no more out of Ryan Taylor in the 2nd half than we got out of Ben Arfa in the first, we probably got less.

I didn't say they were unlucky, I said we were lucky. They weren't unlucky up front, we were lucky that they were shite and that's different. I don't know how the stats will play out but I felt that until Obertan came on we were less effective in the 2nd half than the first. The biggest difference in the 2nd half to me was Blackburn were getting more and more desperate as the game went on and if they carry on like tonight they are down. I actually thought they were lucky as times, Hoilett should have been off for that dive and the penalty was as soft as you'll ever see, they are just a very poor team. The booking for Taylor was a bit of joke, he went over and lifted the player but other than that he didn’t do anything to warrant a card.

I thought he looked good, until he got the ball.

He's been very lucky tonight and I don't care what anybody on here says. We won because Blackburn were as poor up front as any team I can remember seeing for a long time. We were worse tonight than we were against Fulham and a win is more down to the opposition than us.

I can't say any more about him, he's so good and I can't understand how we haven't tied him up on a new contract. We don't have a more important player at the club.
-
At least he had enough about him to beat a man 5 times, I don't think Best and Shola beat anybody 5 times combined throughout the whole game.
-
For me that's his biggest fault.
-
It will be good to have them as options but we'll need to step up our performance behind them because our lack of creativity tonight was as bad as you'll see in the Premiership.
-
We've had a left back all season and they haven't cleared as many, I can't remember any defender at Newcastle ever doing it as often as Simson has this season and every time he does it it's worth a goal.
-
He took his goal well, I hope it gives him a lift.
-
He kept us in it during the first half when he again cleared off the line.
-
I'd take Stroller and Ryan Taylor off, Stroller is doing nothing and it will be just our luck for Taylor to get a 2nd yellow.
-
I hope not, we'll see.
-
For a lot of it, yes.
-
We've been very poor and lucky.
-
We don't need forwards, we'll go looking for a draw.

Play kids and you don't have that problem.

I would have no problem with Cabaye missing 3 games if the FA were consistent and reviewed every game but they don't, they do FA when it suits them.

Shearer.

I'm a bit surpprised the ref has admitted to having not seen it as he seemed to be quite close, having said that if he can miss a certain penalty then he can miss anything. It's amazing that the referee isn't being asked why he missed it.
-
Nobody knows what he intended to do at the end, the only thing this verdict might do is help his kids if they think he wasn't going to go through with it. I can only guess that it might make it a little bit easier for them.

The Coroner is saying that he can't be sure that he wanted to take his life at the end, plenty of people go to commit suicide and don't go through with it. I’m sure quite a few people will have died after deciding not to go through with it. You put yourself in danger when you try to take your life and some people will have had a change of mind but will not have been able to prevent it. How many times do people go onto a bridge and eventually get talked down? Personally I cringe when climbing up steps without a wire around my neck, I’d hate to go up one with a wire around my neck and then try to get back down in one piece.

Why? Do people always make decisions and stick to them?
