It seems strange that this is all kicking off while he's away from the club and will not have to face anybody at the club.

They are also a club owned by the fans who are struggling to keep going, it would be good to help them out.

I've just been reading a Wrexham forum, some of them wanted Everton because they thought they could beat them. Edit, one of them thinks they'll beat us.

I think that's the end we used to get anyway if it's the one on the north side of the ground. Wasn't the Kop end next to the railway? I once went out on a Friday night with no intention of going to the game. I got pissed and along with a mate decided to hitch a lift down at 2am when we came out of a night club. We hitched down to the M62 and started walking along the hard shoulder until the police stopped us and were going to arrest us for walking on the motorway. I gave them some nonsense about being chased out of a motorway cafe by Man U fans so the police give us a lift into Manchester where we got the train to Chester and from Chester to Wrexham. I seem to remember walking out of the train station and walking past the main stand to the end which we were in. All in all, a 12 1/2 hour journey.

It says they started in the early 80's and we last played them in 1982 so it may have been after our last game.

The season Wrexham put us and Blyth out of the cup was the year Bobby won it with Ipswich.

It should only be about 3 1/2 hours to Wrexham by car though which is how I will get down.

Winnable match whoever gets through. Logistically/Socially I'd rather it was Brighton, closer for me to get too and will be a good night out with plenty of Mags no doubt enjoying the seaside. Although you have to think Wrexham is eminently more winnable, but it's a nasty place to go to, everything would be set up for an upset. Would it be easier to go to the nice modern stadium against a team with players we've heard/know more about, and a club we'd take more seriously as a threat. There are a fair few loony's that follow Wrexham around too, they'd certainly look to cause some trouble in their own manor win, lose or draw. I've been to Wrexham at least 6 or 7 times and never had the slightest bit of trouble, unlike going to South Wales.

Wrexham's ground only has 3 sides now, I think. It's much easier to get to but we'd probably get less tickets that we'd get for Brighton.

I went to that game and didn't get in until half time.
