That was shit, not the goals, the shitty coverage.

He didn't exactly tap it in.

It's about to start if anybody needs to be told.

Messi probably watches videos of Ben Arfa.
  5. The milk man's horse, brilliant.

I don't know how many players he beat, 5, 6 or 7, I just remember shouting go on, go on, go on then f****** hell. His change of pace and direction will slaughter most defenders. Some people might find him a little frustrating, I don't because he just oozes class and his goal alone was worth paying to see. Our last 4 goals have been of an amazing quality and Ben Arfa's goal is the pick of the bunch but I bet we've never scored 4 better goals in a row than our last 4. I know we keep saying it, Ben Arfa must start every game.

What a cheeky bastard, I'm sure he tried to score from a corner. I have likened him to Beardsley in the past and I think Beardsley would have struggled to beat his goal today. I can't remember the last time I saw a goal like it and it goes down as one of the best I've seen scored by a Newcastle player. No other current Newcastle player could score a goal like that.
  8. It was a one off and I hope it doesn't happen again, I was embarrassed later when I thought about it.
  9. I haven't confronted anybody for racism as I haven't heard any. Last season some kids told me that some bloke 5 or 6 rows back had tried to spit on them and had hit me. I checked the back of my jacket and they were right, he had spat one my jacket. I took my jacket off and climbed over 5 or 6 rows of seats to get at that bloke and basically threatened to rip his head off, I was really pissed off at the time and had lost all self control. A Steward came up and asked what had happened and I told him and he went up and said something to them, they didn’t re-appear at any other game and they had been at all of the games up to that point so I don’t know if they were banned or just thought better of coming back. I followed him and his two kids’ (mid 20’s) out of the ground and onto Barrack Road and again threatened him but the three of them bottled it which I’m glad about as I would have only ended up getting nicked.
  10. He actually looked on fire when he came on and made one brilliant run to get back, well done to him, he might have something to offer after all.

    Shola Ameobi

You'll have seen him standing around in the 2nd half while everybody else was defending, he stood half way between the half way line and our goal without offering any help at all.
  12. First choice or not at least he's going to a warm climate which should do him some good and he'll miss what is probably the coldest time of the year here so going away isn't totally negative. And it will give us a chance to see if he is as good as he looks or will somebody else start getting goals by taking up his position.

While you were on here tapping away at your keyboard my agenda had me losing my voice shouting encouragement to the players. It’ll not have made much difference but it will have made more of a difference than your support. Of course I could be wrong and you may have been at the match and you may be the only person who can get a good signal in the ground.

    Alan Pardew

Agreed, thank God he doesn't listen to people on here asking him to play Santon and drop Obertan, or play football on the deck.

I thought we played with 10 men, him being the odd one out.
  16. I love watching Cabaye, he can play a brilliant ball one minute then gets stuck in the next.

    Alan Pardew

We mixed it up, nobody has said that we should never go route one, we should mix it up and tonight we did.
  18. He's a class player and I would give him a lot of credit for the way we played as early on he was the one that stood out and really got going, I have no idea how Ryan Taylor has kept him out of hte team.

    Alan Pardew

Our first touch was Coloccini hitting a long ball and I thought here we go, I couldn't have been more wrong and it's now up to Pardew to make sure we maintain the quality of football on show tonight. We've shown we can be effective when we play the ball on the ground and we have players who are more than capable of doing it.
  20. I'm going with home win, starting Shola and Taylor has lucky bastard written all over it.

I thought that we were 10th at half time but I can't say for certain at I was at the match so can only repeat what I was told. You mentioned relegation, I didn't but I don't ecxpect you ever to admit that you are wrong, even though it's in the thread and is plain to see for anybody who reads it.
