We probably played our best football of the season and played the ball along the ground for most of the time. We did go route one a couple of times and so we should, just not all of the time. Cabaye could have had 3 and we didn't have a poor player, unlike against QPR when most were poor. Think about how bad we were against QPR, we were as good against Villa as we were bad against them. No idea if they were poor or if we just made them look that way, I guess we were just that good and they couldn't get the better of our midfield. It's easy to say they were shite but we deserve credit for that, if they were.

A special mention for the away support, at one point I think they were singing Toon Toon for about 10 minutes without stopping and the players responded to it.

Ba will score goals, I'd rather play the best players in each position and I think Ba is the better of the two. I think Ba will score against Blackburn if he plays and then we'll see a more relaxed player as the pressure will be off him.

I think Ba will offer more and will compliment a midfield of Jonas, Tiote, Cabaye and Marveaux with Ben Arfa given a free role between midfield and BA.

He's got important goals but I'd still drop him for Ben Arfa.

He can't have too many fitness issues, he played 120 minutes in the League Cup.

He's got to start ahead of Obertan, Marveaux looks like he's going to be a class player. He seems to have a low centre of balance and can turn so quickly and stay on his feet his passing ability is also first class.

I can't work him out, he does nothing for me yet he still gets goals.

That was by far our best 90 minutes of the season and I think we could have won it with some better substitutions.
