Jonas does some things better than others in our team and football isn't just about scoring goals. Jonas will track back and provide cover for the defenders, he can pick up the ball and take it forward and keep possession which can take pressure off us and give us a bit of time with the ball. He also wins a lot of free kicks in dangerous areas because he protects the ball well when making runs up the line.

Jonas plays with his right foot on the left, what would be the problem with him playing with his right foot on the right? The only difference I can see is that he'll have space to his left instead of the right. Other than that, he does move over to the right during games so it's not as if he'll be doing something that he doesn't do anyway, he'll just do it for longer periods.

That post says more about you than it does about the imaginary people you're posting about. I doubt that any of our fans want us to get beat just so that they can claim they were right. I would personally rather we win every game, no matter who is playing for us, managing us or owning us.

Best hasn't been our best player in the last 2 games.

I thought he was OK against Blackpool and Stoke.

I don't rate Best as highly as some people doand I know that I might be the one in the wrong but I'll go with what I think. Best does very little for me even if he has improved his game over the last couple of seasons, I can see him going on a run of games without doing much, especially against the better teams.

I hope that he's lost it.

Ben Arfa has done all he can do, he's regained his fitness after two injuries and he's clearly the better player of the two.

I would rather play what looks to be our best 11, if our lesser players don't like that then tough really. I don't even think that Ryan Taylor or Obertan are playing that well, Best isn't a player that I enjoy watching but to be fair to him he has scored some important goals and has put in some good passes. I just think his luck has run out now that Ba looks to be our main threat in front of goal and is probably getting balls that Best was getting only a few weeks ago.

They'll have another 2 weeks of training before Spurs, start them.

Because I think we'll be a better team if we play what I think is our best starting 11. We'll get nothing against Spurs if we play like we did today in the 2nd half.

He made some great saves today but the most pleasing thing about today for me was when he came and took the ball in the air on the edge of our 18 yard area.

Santon, Ben Arfa and Marveaux in for Ryan Taylor, Best and Obertan and we'll beat Spurs.

We did very little at all in the 2nd half and the ball wouldn't stick up front. We were crying out for changes at the front to take some pressure off our midfield and defence who had the ball coming back at them every time we had the ball up front. The change we made was the wrong one in my opinion as I thought that Ba was more likely to score than an ineffective Best. The performance wasn't just negative in the last 20 minutes, it was for most of the 2nd half and the problem wasn't with the centre of midfield or our defence, it was in the final third and that wasn't reacted to soon enough. In the end Cabaye had to come off but that didn’t have to be the case if we’d made better changes earlier in the 2nd half.

We were really lucky to hang on to the three points after bringing on just about the worst substitutions on that we could have made, Elliott for Krul would have just capped off those two. We should have changes things earlier as we did very little in the 2nd half and surrendered possession far too often. Lovenkrands for anybody is a bit daft, to take Ba off for him was laughable as Ba was by far our best forward and most likely to score. We’ve played well against Villa and Blackburn but we were as bad in the 2nd half as we’ve been good in the last 2 games and we didn’t have to be because we were competitive in the first half. I don’t think we’ll be as luck again as we’ve been in the 2nd half today when I think we could have gone on to score more if we’d brought on Marveaux and Ben Arfa for Obertan and Best.
