Why did he go down? I hope it was just a touch of cramp because I didn't see any reason for him going over.
-
I thought that he did somethings well and others not so well. Some of our better balls in from the right today came from Simpson.
-
He didn't take the simple option down by our corner flag. He could have hit it into the stands but flicked the ball past the player he was defending against and played the ball out along our left wing. I haven't a clue how he came away with the ball and most defenders wouldn't have even tried to do it the way he did.

I'd rather play Jonas than Obertan.
-
I can't remember him making a bad pass today, the worst was a pass to Simpson which would have been his best pass if Simpson had put a little more effort into getting on the end of it.
-
Aye, it did remind me of when Albert scored against Man U.
-
Ba was clinical today and I'm not sure that he should have been the one to get replaced because I think he'd have scored more. Maybe he came off so that he could receive an ovation, if that's the case then I can understand it.

Coloccini is class, he reads the game so well and rarely flaps, even when he makes a mistake, something he didn't do today. I love it when he gets the ball anywhere at the back because more often than not he'll bring the ball out. I think he'd have scored today if Obertan had played the ball to him after Coloccini had made one of his epic runs up field. Coloccini is the main reason why we've let in so few goals. He holds the defence together with his calmness and how he reads the game. The midfield know that if he get's the ball he's going to look to play others in rather than just hoofing the ball and losing posession.

I'd drop Best for Ben Arfa, Spurs at home might be the ideal game to make the change.
-
Thought he was the pick of the bunch, personally. He played a few sloppy passes, other than that he played really well.
-
Coloccini, outstanding. Cabaye, outstanding. Tiote almost outstanding. Ba, outstanding.
-
Best and Obertan off, Marveaux and Ben Arfa on. The floodgates will open.

Do it yourself. Save it to your computer. Go to your profile, click on modify profile, click on forum profile, Where it says "Personalised Picture" click on browse, select "I will upload my own picture" select the photo you've saved, click on open, at the bottom of the page click on change profile and that should work.

After taking away all of the hype, it's great to have him back.

Nobby is still my favourite foreign player, closely followed by Coloccini. I still think that Nobby going to London had nothing to do with his family or the club, I just don't think he liked the manager at that time. Hopefully he'll be a good coach and will stay for a long time, I can imagine why the kids would love to work with him and I would think that he'll have a slightly different outlook to British coaches and that can only be good for the kids if they are given a different perspective.

It's not a soopafan comment, it's an old bastard comment, trust me, I know.
-
That's no excuse as it's only Tuesday. Start him and take him off when he's wrecked.
-
I'd start him on Saturday.

The advertising around the pitch came in the early 70's to our ground, the first advert I can ever remember was for McAlpine when they were building the East Stand. People at work are talking about the sign that's gone up on the East Stand roof and not many have seen photographs of it.
-
When was this then? As for the Internet and Essex fans comment, horse shit.

Or, maybe it because it wasn't a shitty logo covering the front of a stand or a shitty logo covering the roof of a stand and in full view of the spectators and something the club had to pay for. It was a small blue star which brought money into the club.

I don't remember any outcry, do you?
