As far as I'm concerned, both sackings were wrong at the time.

When he was first appointed I thought that he was the best that we could get. Once the club was taken over I thought he was the wrong man for the job.

We've had proven managers in the past, even if they haven't worked out. Allardyce was the last proven manager who a few thought would do a good job.

I wasn't on about Carroll, I was on about sacking the manager when we didn't have to. I honestly don't think a half decent manager would touch us unless it was somebody with a connection to the club.

The two situations are similar in as much we were derided for both sackings.

He made a decision during the season which didn't need to be made and because of it we're probably weaker as a club. If Pardew doesn't work out we're back to shopping at Netto when it comes to replacing him. No half decent manager is going to look as us and think he can come here and build something.

I think we've got to give him money, I would hate to go through next season with what we currently have.

Unfortunately not, we need to stop sacking managers as often as we do or we'll never move on. That's not me being a hypocrite, it's a different answer to a different question. We’ll never get a decent manager unless we look like a club who gives managers a chance.

That’s irrelevant because it will take years to get anybody decent while Ashley is at the club, unfortunately. We’ve had far too many managers in a short space of time to make anybody decent think it’s a job worth taking.

Do you think we would have got the draw with 11 v 11? As for an agenda, I want the club to do well and don't think Pardew is the right man to take us forwards and his previous managerial jobs back that up.

Would you swap a 5-1 defeat if it meant finishing higher than them? I wouldn't and I'll never forget many hundreds, possibly thousands of them walking out of the ground at half time never to return.

Getting somebody next to Tiote with legs will help the defence.

Do you seriously think Pardew changed the game against Arsenal? What changed that game was a sending off and then the players and crowd being lifted by that decision. If Arsenal had stayed at 11 men we wouldn't have got a point out of the game.
