  1. The fact that Carroll didn't stay tells you something else.
  2. Nolan didn't have to say anything, he's a thick bastard.
  3. We're the only ones who have been shafted in all of this, as usual.

    @probbinsNUFC, I think.
  5. He's probably had his first views of Liverpool in daylight.
  6. And still nobody can explain how they forced him to hand in a transfer request.
  7. By the looks of it we would have had to sell somebody else to pay Carrolls wages.
  8. Agreed. I'm not going to do an NE5 and claim that we were always right.
  9. For what it's worth, I think Pardew was telling the truth about how this came about. I believe 100% that if Carroll wanted an immediate pay rise he'd be told where to go by Llambias. On the other side of that, I think they would have looked at his contract again in the summer and I’m sure he’d have survived until the summer on his reported £30,000 a week salary.
  10. He denied being mates with them yet he's now been seen in a Casino with Ashley, another co-incidence?
  11. So they should, the fans want answers so they have to ask the questions. At least Pardew faces the press, unlike those pulling his strings.
  12. Tell them you bought it on the strength of Pardew telling everybody that Carroll wasn't going anywhere.
  13. If we spend anything less than £45 million on fee's and wages we've saved money.
  14. Liverpool are spending nothing, they've just about broken even in this window. Also, Nolan is our captain, he shouldn't be advising our players about leaving our club.
  15. Do you agree with Nolan that Carroll going to Liverpool was the best thing to do?
  16. Sometimes you have something good and you don't know it until it's gone. Maybe N'Zogbia regrets going, you never know.
  17. I had a mate at school who played for Newcastle, he was as sound as a pound. I've had a few mates who were professional footballers and they were all spot on.

    How can we re-invest the £35 million if we don't spend it?

    Did Pardew say that he would spend it all?
