You seem to be forgetting what this is about, it was to do with the claim that Ashley has never taken any money out of the club, he clearly has and we have no reason to think that if we sell players he'll not do it again. He hasn't taken out any more than he was legally entitled to take in the past as he has a legal obligation which ensures that he pays the bills or we go bust. Nothing can stop him from taking money out of the club if we are making more than we spend as long as he does it legally. He can take as much of his loan back as he wants as long as the club has that money to pay to him. It doesn't matter where that money comes from as long as it's legally obtained, I think that covers everything.

Fact is, it was claimed that he hadn't taken money out of the club, the accounts are proof that he has. Ya that point is conceded based on the accounts, was arguing your point though that "it also wasn't $1 million". Do you concede on that? The difference between maximum and final loan in that period wasn't $1 milion, that would be just over £600,000 (assuming it was USD).

Using your logic, it would be more like taking £10 out of your wallet and then putting £9 back in.

No the argument is about him taking money out of the club when it was wrongly claimed that he hadn't. It also wasn't $1 million, the £1 million difference is the amount that he'd put in by the end of the financial year and no reflection what he took out during the season as he'd put more in by the end.
-
It true then he's in good company, Taylor, 2 lasses and a lad in a night club that we know of.
-
I agree that its speculation and I didn't try to pass it off as fact.
-
I'm sure that he will take money out in future and he does have every right. We have no reason to think that money generated through the transfer of players will be re-invested because he will probably think that he's already done his investing in the club.
-
It doesn't say that he had taken out £1 million as he had to put more in after he'd taken money out. If he did it then, which he did, nothing will stop him from doing it again in future.

Here's a screen print of note 23, it's probably not good enough as it's not a link from a newspapers website but here goes, paragraph 3. http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/2069/note23.jpg

The fact is that he has taken money out of the club which goes against "Ashley has taken absolutely no money out of the club so far." Where the money came from that he did take out is anybodies guess but it did come out during the financial year so it had to come from somewhere. He hasn't been in a position to take much out because the club hasn't produced enough cash to pay the bills. We've been told that we're on our way to breaking even so nothing will stop him taking money out again, even if he has to put more in later, like he did during the year ending 30th June 2009.

Get the accounts and read note 23, it's not rocket science to understand the content of the note provided by the clubs auditors on the clubs behalf and which have been signed off by Llambias.
-
Who said he was taking out loads? Get the accounts and read them if you don't believe what I'm telling you. You wrongly claimed that he hadn't taken money out and I said that he had, that information comes from the clubs accounts which I can't link to as they are on my hard drive.

The last set of accounts.
-
Ashley has taken money out of the club and it was in out accounts, he didn't take much but it was a few £million.

Given also dropped the ball without looking to see if anybody was behind him only to have Dion Dublin round him to put the ball in the net.
-
Grimsby didn't score from the spot in either half so the notes might be a good idea.
-
I thought we split the Grimsby defence really well in the first half and was only let down by McGorrigan who doesn't seem to understand the off-side rules, maybe he's got too many female hormones.

For me the stand out players were Alnwick in goal, he was unlucky when they scored as he'd pulled off a couple of good saves in the build up to them equalising. Nicholson, Riley and Streete looked quite good at the back. Sayer took his goal well, so did Spear. Knight and Maddison played well and the first two subs, Campbell and Hoganson looked quite fast.
