  1. The difference now with our transfer policy is that we seem to be able to bring in more from sales than we have in the past. Getting in the region of £7 million for Dyer and £12 million for Milner isn't the way we've worked in the past, we've bought high and sold low. I'm convinced that if we'd sold those two for what they were worth rather than what we received then people would be happier. That’s a comment in general and not aimed at anybody in particular.
  2. The last 11 fielded before Ashley took over was: Harper Solano Ramage Taylor Carr Butt Milner Dyer Ameobi Owen Pattison Today we'll probably have: Given Beye Coloccini Bassong Enrique Gutierrez Butt Guthrie N'Zogbia Owen Martins I know which team I would rather watch, I think I'd only pick a fit and in form Dyer from the original 11.
  3. His actions are understandable if he only bought the club so that he could sit in the stands and support us as he could no longer do that.
  4. I've admitted it but I'm not even sure that I wanted him out. I think I wanted Wise and Llambias out and probably would still like to see at least one of them go because of what happened. I'm not convinced that Wise is to blame as he had a job to do and he's done it although I'm not sure he's done it the right way.
  5. I think he really tried to sell and didn't put somebody in who could have been a problem with new owners, we might see a different manager for the new season if Ashley decides that he's going to ride it out. I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens between now and then because things could still change if the financial markets improve.
  6. Or, people could see the shitstorm that has been surrounding the club and want an end to it. The club was and still is to a lesser degree disfunctional, that is no good for anybody.

That's what I thought when I had the error.
  8. I doubt that's the case, he let them go through the books.
  9. My guess is that he didn't want to make a loss but wasn't looking for a big profit.

  11. It doesn't matter how much is offered, it'll alway be that he's asking too much.

My connection opened other sites while it couldn't open this one. I don't know why threads like this are started if you don't actually want to know anything.
  13. How much was he wanting for the club?

I've had this from 19:25 Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage Most likely causes: You are not connected to the Internet. The website is encountering problems. There might be a typing error in the address.
  16. Thousands of people have a choice about selling, just like he does.
  17. If he wasn't trying to sell then why employ people to try and sell the club? Harris will not be working for nothing. Why shoud he sell at a loss?
