Agreed, and we'll win 3-1 on Saturday.
-
You were watching a different Barton to me, the one I was watching was clueless. He rarely found a team mate when playing the ball and we ended up under pressure because of it.
-
Keegan made the wrong decision when taking Martins off but at least he did or said enough at half time to turn the game around, I don't think that should be under estimated, a good second half has been a rarity this season.
-
Faye looked better in the second half, Barton was shite all game, I've never shouted at the tele as much in my life, he's pure 100 carot shite.
-
Geremi had a good game, he should never be allowed to take another corner though. Barton is so shite that I can't think of a word bad enough to sum his performance up.
-
Butt is shit made to look better by having a shitter Barton next to him, Butt gave away so much posession in the first half with stupid long balls which just ended coming back at us.
-
Agreed, Owen was the easier ball and a probable goal, Viduka was poor tonight, he looked totally unfit.
-
N'Zogbia should have been on for Barton as soon as we'd scored, Barton is one of the worst footballers I've seen at Newcastle for years. Keegan blew it when he took Martins off.
-
It's surprising that we got rid of them when you consider how well we did with them.
-
Even a poor Michael Owen is better than most of the others we've got at the minute.
-
No arguments here, I think that just about has him worked out.
-
Nobody could really say that with any degree of certainty, it also depends on what is meant by fail.

That wasn't the worst, I once did the journey in 3 1/2 hours in thick fog. 4 car loads came down in the middle of the night and we couldn't see each other until we got to Dalkeith, I was almost falling asleep because the fog was hypnotic, I was the first car and rarely dropped below 90. The worst part was near Stirling on the A90 where the road bends a few times before and after crossing the river, that was scary. We went down the A68 and it got bad again when we were getting close to Newcastle but it wasn't anything like the fog in Scotland.
-
Aberdeen, I done it once from a 3am start in 3 hours 5 minutes from the Bridge of Dee to the Tyne, I reached the Tyne at 06:05. I shouldn't say this but I went over the Forth Road Bridge at more than twice the speed limit.

Another 2 hours drive after bypassing your place.
-
Mine, the only good thing is that I would drive straight past you.

It had nothing to do with hindsight, I said he was shite on here before we signed him. I had the misfortune of living in Scotland and got to see plenty of him playing for Rangers, only on TV but it was enough as Rangers were given a lot of coverage. He was dodgy when put under pressure and only looked good against the lesser teams when they allowed him to walk out of defence with the ball, when put under pressure he was shite, only good for a laugh. I can use hindsight now and say he was shite for us, I did predict it beforehand.
-
The story has nothing to it, it's just a story which has been put together by some bloke in Zurich, he's not even based in Spain unless I've missed something.
-
Personally I didn't see anything in Boumsong while playing for Rangers that made me think he'd do well in the Premiership.
-
I've always thought that was the beginning of the end, I felt cheated when I heard the team.
-
I'm thrilled, piss off Carr.
-
Allardyce was destined to fail because the players he invested in were not performing, neither were those who he inherited.
-
The trends were all downwards but you're right in as much as none of us know for sure what would have happened, nothing was suggesting we were going to do better, plenty of things suggested things were not going to improve or were going to get worse.

I know what you're saying but transfers are about value for money, Keegan has had a track record here which is second to none in that regard. If he buys £20 million players and they work out then he'll do more than a manager who buys players for £6 million that don't work out. You need to buy more £6 million failures then £20 million successes to get to the same place. 3 x £20 million successes are better than 10 x £ 6 million failures, even though they cost the same in total.
