Before Keegan arrived we won more games with Geremi than without, even when he looked poor we won more with him than without.

Barton does deserve praise for today, he even looked like a footballer for 90 minutes, I didn't expect to see that, he had a great game.

Harper is worth more than 6.5, he couldn't do anything about the goal and the rest of his play was good, much better than we've seen from Given and possibly why the defence looked quite calm for most of the game, we even had to defend for about 10 minutes in the second half.

It could have been 7 or 8 if we'd carried a bit more luck, we did have luck today because for the first time this season the ball was dropping towards one of our players instead of away, as in life, you make your own luck.

Viduka had a poor first half but in the second half he was doing everything I wanted to see him doing in the first. Within a couple of minutes he was turning players and running towards goal, his second half performance was the type we need to see from him more regularly, he looked a different player.

It was a flick, not a dummy.

Credit to Owen, we're seeing a different player since he dropped back as his passing is as good as any player in the team, he rarely loses possession.

Keegan deserves a massive amount of praise for the result today, he's took a load of unfair criticism on the chin and proven the doubters wrong, it may only be one game but we had no right to expect what was served up today, I can't remember when I last enjoyed a game so much, I can't remember anything as good under Allardyce and possibly not Roeder. Thanks Kev, you deserve today.
