WHAT! Bramble was no where near as good as gooch yesterday. Everytime Bramble got the ball he gave it to the opposition. Gooch looked composed, not at all shakey.

Bit late but here goes: Given 6 Not alot to do, kicking average at best. Nobby 7 After a sloppy start proved that he is still our best passer, nothing to show for it though. MOM- Woodgate. Has not lost any talent.

I think one of the most suicidal mistakes a manager can do is make wholesale changes to his squad. Arsene Wenger and Fergy both are fantastic at pinpointing their problems and signing players to suit. So taking this in mind i wouldn't sign any more than 2 or 3 first teamers. We have to the into account the improvement of youngsters. The priority, in my mind, has to be a left back. We have one left back and he's inconsistant and injury prone. My choice would be Bridge. After that i would look to target a centre half, whether or not Gooch is a success. I believe we need someone with a little bit of confidence/arrogance. When i've seen Ferdinand play he's been fantastic take into account he's already played with Taylor and is young, so he would be my choice. Thirdly, i'm of the opinion that Emre will be off in the summer which will mean we should sign a replacement.

Dean Ashton is a must should he be availible. However, it wouldn't suprise me if fergy didn't fancy him up front with Rooney. Reo Coker is over rated and inconsistant which is a bad combination. His transfer would depend on the price. I think Ferdinand is a good defender and would be a great partner to Taylor, i am basing my opinion on the blinder he had a sjp.

Souness was right Bellamy was a cancer at the club but it was said for all the wrong reasons. Personally, i dont think great managers give a flying fuck about whether a player is a trouble maker or not. SBR didn't mind, Fergi didn't mind with Keane or Cantona and Souness' problem was that he had no idea how to deal with this type of modern footballer. I fully agree that Bellamy is a little cunt but look around the premiership sadly these days all the best players are cunts. Been down to the City of manc stadium last year twice and both times their fans where fine. Maybe that was just the citeh fans but they weere generally good crak and usual banter. I am so worried that Roeder actually rates Bramble. Fair enough he's a big strong lad who has the odd solid performance but he really shouldn't be considered a first choice centre half.
