Doesn't say toonjam on there.

No he didn't, he said he had travelled.

"Newcastle won't be signing anyone else this window but may sign someone if they become available". Some right fucking whopping journalists like.

The crazier other results the better for us. We just need to be consistent.

Sinesterra with a bit of filth.

Brilliant from pickford

Reckon from an NUFC point of view I'd like to see Leeds run out of steam and Palace stutter.
-
As daft as that stuff is, Everton do seem to have a bit of bite.

Looking to the future. I hope we keep courting players like Harrison and Maddison.

I've got Leeds on, just in the hope Everton get beat.

Reet lads, which game we got on?
-
Griezman getting out of atletico and that farcical loan situation that he's in? I'm joking... kind of.

Modric has the same agent as Isak. Just saying.

Genuinely one of my favourite players in the squad. Showed real character to get back into the plans for the future. Manquillo is an able right back, hopefully we see Krafthu back soon.

Rule of thumb is that any list of clubs, means its almost certainly rubbish.

As long as we come away with momentum. Not crucial we get something but it is crucial we go into Palace with the momentum that we have had. We can't be going feeling sorry for ourselves if we get a pasting. Let's give a good showing, like at City.

@Heronwere you at the wolves game? If not you have a spitting double.

I think Everton have at least bought good characters. I'd trust Tarkowski and Coady to keep the dressing room honest and while that's normal the sort of shit from a PFM, in Evertons instance they genuinely need some players who can resonate with the fanbase. They have effectively set the reset button on their squad. I still think that they have sufficient quality to survive but they need a striker desperately. I'm actually surprised they haven't come in for Chris Wood. Edit: Forgot they had signed Maupay. Think that's a good move, even though he's not prolific.

There was nothing stopping Parker resigning after promotion and saying he wanted to try a "new project" or whatever. Kicking off 4 games into a season, knowing what he had signed up for is the issue.

The difference is context. Bournemouth are a club that are building to become a PL club, Newcastle were already a PL and had massive resources before MA arrived. It's the same when people talk about Man Uniteds owners and say "look but they have spent 200m". Lost is the context about where they are and where they have come from. Don't get me wrong, you do have to question why the likes of Bournemouth or Norwich think that you can come up from the championship and not have a slightly more ambitious plan yet still expect to survive. Brighton and Brentford are the benchmark for the smaller clubs coming up.

Wonder if the 6m we are getting for Dubravka allows us some wriggle room also. Would certainly cover most of a loan move.

Aye he had this little grin, it was suspicious. Reckon he's a sly auld dog wor Eddie.

From the outside Parker has come across as a right selfish cunt. He's basically decided that Bournemouths failure, can't be his failure. He can't be seen as a manager that got relegated again and thrown his players under the bus. While he is right that this squad isn't good enough, he should have resigned in the summer when he knew he wasn't getting loads of dosh. It's interesting that he gets loads of support within the media and I must say I was duped into thinking he might be a good coach but then I remembered what he was like at Newcastle, the second it got tough he jumped ship. Perhaps this will be a master stroke from Parker, because his next job might actually be a PL job, he'd probably get an Everton job or whatever but you know the saying a cunt never changes his spots... or something like that. Bournemouth should look at what Leeds did. Find someone with energy from elsewhere, who could potentially bring them back up next season, should they go down.
