He's someone who looks as though he could handle the pressure of SJP. He believes in his ability, plays passes, takes shots on etc. That's not to say I think he's a great player but he's very very good IMO.

Not blaming the new owners either way but: 1 more = Poor Window 2 more = Average/minimum for what we need 3 more= Good Window 4+= Very good Window. Also that scale represents my hope in staying up too. If we get 2 more, I reckon its a toss of a coin on whether we survive, 3 and we tip things in our favour.

He might give us 5% more chance of us winning a game from his aerial threat and the one or two times he holds up the ball and links up the play, as well as his ability occupy 2 CBs. 5% is massive. It's not always about becoming twice the team over night, it's about edging our likelihood of winning, through every signing. Trippier might have added 10%, Wood might add 5%, maybe just 3%, but he adds something.
