BTW, it's not that I don't think the new guys are being slow. I think they are being slow but I suspect its down to two things. Firstly they are trying to take their time to get things right and secondly they are relatively inexperienced at this. I just don't think it's worth criticism though.

This is quite frankly embarrassing.

You can't look at a fixture list and say "we can't get anything from these fixtures". You do that and you are already relegated. By the time those fixtures have come around, the landscape has changed. We hopefully have a spring in our step and other clubs come under huge pressure from whatever situation they are in. I'm not scared of Man Utd under Ole or Arteta at Arsenal. We might get beat, sure, but if we apply ourselves we can upset them. We have done it before.

I personally feel the club is as United as its ever been in the last 20 years. We have a owners, fans and now a manager all pushing in the same direction and all with massive potential for growth. Like I've said before, I don't want us to get relegated but a championship season under Eddie Howe and heavy financial backing will see us come back up and arguably in better shape. That said, I'm actually really confident of staying up. The main reason is the ability of the other teams in the bottom half to slit each others throats. We need to stay cool and focused. Just keep trying to pick up a point away from home. Hopefully a combination of a good atmosphere and a renewed sense of confidence in attack and we can put a few teams to the sword at home. The quicker that first win comes, the quicker the tide will turn. Provided we are in touching distance in January, PIF will throw everything at player recruitment. The lift of signing good players can make a big difference alone but if we get it right, we can start taking a few bigger scalps.

Wow Micheal Owen has a backbone? Who'd have thunk it? He's spot on. Every club should have a vision and should sign players to fit that vision.
