  1. No chance they will hire Hughton or Bruce IMO. They will go foreign and obscure. Someone like Watfords recently sacked manager.

    Graeme Jones

Chelsea was a write off. Palace and Brighton have just pulled off massive results against City and Liverpool respectively, who in turn have both pissed all over Man United in recent games. We've been incredibly uninspiring but I'd definitely argue that Jones has got us more competitive and harder to break down. Anyway, long live the King.
  3. Wonder if Wor Flags have got something lined up for Wor Eddie. Atmosphere could do with a lift.
  4. He's absolutely getting the benefit of being Frank Lampard in terms of landing bigger jobs BTW. Is that anything new? We've just watched Xavi get the Barca job off the back of managing in Qatar. If there was ever a profession where reputation and contacts count as double its football.
  5. He would be far better off going abroad to Germany or wherever, where he doesn't have people willing him to fail.
  6. How can you possibly know that? His career has barely begun FFS. Are you now saying that former football stars can't make good managers?
  7. It's as if you are either shite or mint, no middle ground? No room for growth? Alot of Chelsea fans are quite complimentary about the job he did with restricted funds and bringing on young players. Again, I don't know how he's career will turn out but it's important to hear the other side of the arguement.
  8. Absolutely. It's just a lazy opinion to have. Who knows how Lampards career in management will fair? The only thing I'd say is that all managers should be looking to learn. It would do Lampard wonders to take 18 months out and go and speak to some coaches on the continent and make sure he's aware of the standard of modern coaching. If he follows the Redknapp, old boys club routine, the ultimately he will turn into a journeyman. He deserves a clean slate in his own right.
  9. Even if he's scribbled something down, he hasn't even taken a training session. It's mindless horseshit of the highest order.
  10. It's imput like that which makes me wonder whether some people know anything about football. Eddie Howe literally sits in the stand and he's at fault for our performance, despite never even signing on the dotted line.
  11. Whether it falls through or not, some of the reactions in here are embarrassing.
  12. Ole is really at the wheel. Shame they are driving off a cliff.
  13. I doubt there are any issues. It's just a case of nailing down roles, length of contracts, wages, release clauses etc. Everything has to be in sync.
  14. Put it this way, it kind of has to be confirmed in the next 4 hours, since he's going to be in the stands vs Brighton. Reckon it's done, just waiting for them to tell us.
  15. Let's be honest, Emery is very comfortable at Villareal. Not often a manager is genuinely wanted by their fans, like Rafa was with us. He's probably made the right decision to stick by their club and their fans. However I suspect he has peaked, in terms of what he can a achieve there. For his sake, I hope his stock doesn't drop because he decided to stay there a couple of years too long because if that happens, one of the worlds big clubs won't take him on again.
  16. The eddie howe of N-O
  17. Bless Yorkie with his title changes man. Right diligent little fella.
  18. OK, it's slightly ahead on mine.
  19. Yeah, they either all have the same source or they share information once the first journo has gone with the news. Pete Graves and Lee Ryder will be next, you watch.
  20. Think it's been mentioned that he's been in touch with Jones.
  21. Commentary is way ahead of the play on sky.
