Absolutely. It's just a lazy opinion to have. Who knows how Lampards career in management will fair? The only thing I'd say is that all managers should be looking to learn. It would do Lampard wonders to take 18 months out and go and speak to some coaches on the continent and make sure he's aware of the standard of modern coaching. If he follows the Redknapp, old boys club routine, the ultimately he will turn into a journeyman. He deserves a clean slate in his own right.

Let's be honest, Emery is very comfortable at Villareal. Not often a manager is genuinely wanted by their fans, like Rafa was with us. He's probably made the right decision to stick by their club and their fans. However I suspect he has peaked, in terms of what he can a achieve there.
