On the whole i think we have defended superb, just a lack of concentration from Beye and a lucky deflection. -

Some of our passing and possession play in very good but when we get lost when we need to create something!!! -
Awesome. I really hope we get him.

I thought KK pre-match interview was good, u could see how excited and upbeat he was. It does rub off on u, i remember SA pre and post match interviews and they were dull and uninspiring. Good thing about KK he is honest, he didnt try and make out we were better than we were.

Why are people so concerned about how much footballers make? Why shouldnt he demand the same money as other players at the club when he is more valuable to the club than the likes of Sheva and Ballack. er, because it's a repulsive amount of cash for kicking a ball about, and makes it difficult for me to pretend to myself that players actually want to play for us (or anyone) for reasons other than lucre. Don't really blame players mind. I really dont understand this debate that footballers are on to much, why shouldnt they have a fair slice of the money the club makes from sponsors, sky money, shirt sales etc etc. Why dont people moan about formula 1 drivers or NBA stars? They r on more. Who gives a shit if the aint all that loyal, as long as they do the business on the pitch thats all that matters.

Apparently corporate fans were given decent spiel by 'Iron` Mike Ashley. Our supremo told the corporate that they should expect a 'wow signing` imminently. The Telegraph believes it to be another Argentinian, Javier Saviola. Upon hearing the news KK quipped: "I can`t wait to call him to hear who the 'wow` signing is. It`s a shame he told the corporate fans before me. Dennis Wise, Mike Ashley and Tony Jimenez know we need three more players. We are working really well to get some quality signings in. Over the past few years, Newcastle have got some players in who haven`t been good enough, for whatever reason. If Dennis gets me three more like that! Gutierrez was terrific. Coloccini has had one training session yet he showed his class. I had young Danny Guthrie as my man of the match. He could prove to be as good as the other two, who are both internationals. I`ve told Steven Taylor he can learn from Fabricio. I told him if he learns, he can take the step up. Steven is in the Under-21s now and can step up again to where Fabricio is - a full international. They could be our partnership for the next five years.`` http://www.newcastle.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=120755

Fabricio Coloccini signed from Deportivo La Coruña on 5 year deal

shame he was pussying about on the side lines with a nothing injury when manure got the equaliser. Would be a great addition to the west end. U taking the piss? Didnt u see Oba fall on him? Martins scored the goal and landed on Taylors head. -
Jonas Gutierrez signed from Mallorca on 5 year deal

His control whilst running at top speed impressed me. His attitude to get back and defence was extraodinary, to many times u see winger lose the ball and put their hands on their hips. Jonas not only got back to defence but did a great job at it.
